I had a fabulous experience today at Twelve Restaurant & Bar. Me and my wife enjoyed the brunch, and let me tell you, the food was delicious. I enjoyed prime rib, shrimp, various pasta dishes, breakfast items, and crème brûlée. The mojito was delicious as well. It’s hard to find good customer service these days, but our server – and all staff members – were very pleasant and happy to serve us. 10 out of 10 on this visit.

I had the crab cakes. Nothing really special about them. $25 is a bit pricey for 2, served with Roasted potatoes and Broccolini. We also had the spicy shrimp & pasta with only 4 shrimp in the whole dish for $23. Carrots in the roasted veggies was undercooked. My martini was good, at $10 It was banana. The New York Cheesecake was the worst ever. Should’ve went with a Brownie for dessert, but I figured who could mess up New York Style Cheesecake. They found a way!! Lol

Twelve has immediately been added to our list of favorite restaurants! We made Wednesday night reservations, and my husband was in shorts and a t-shirt. While the restaurant is obviously more upscale, we weren’t terribly out of place. The service was wonderful, and the food is still being raved about! We started with sautéed mussels, he had the Scottish salmon and I had grilled shrimp with risotto, and we made a rare order of dessert (we typically don’t have dessert): creme brulee. Every single part of the meal was FANTASTIC!

My favorite place to grab brunch! The staff is so friendly and attentive. We set up a reservation online and we’re taking to our seats as soon as we arrived. ( We asked to be seated outside. It was a beautiful morning) They have the best Eggs Benedict and it’s a bonus you can get it with the brunch buffet. I also suggest their mimosas with pineapple.

Before the lock-down, used to be one of our favorite places because everything was excellent! But, the 5-6 times we have been since have been average in re to service, flavor and atmosphere. Not bad, just average. Last visited 4/13. Two things were tasty- the mussels(appetizer) and the smoked cheddar grits w the entree. Beyond that, the food was good to fair. Failed to get pic of my husband’s entree which was the special – chicken fried chicken or steak (can’t remember which) but since they were offering this we thought at a restaurant of this caliber it would be special. It was not. I hope Twelve returns to the gem it used to be.
