Top notch spot in Burlington for coffee and pastry, but also real breakfast food, sandwiches for lunch, burgers. What makes this place unique is that their entire menu is free of gluten, dairy, nuts, and other allergens. I had a latte and blueberry muffin while I worked on the computer for a couple hours. You don’t have to have an allergy to like it here.

Breakfast is delicious An average square piece of cake for 8.00 is obscene. When they do not display the pricing in the pastry display there is definitely a reason for it. Yes, you can ask however I bet it’s after the purchase when you wonder how your bill got past 20 for one person. $2.00 more and it’d be $10!

Twist has been a long time favorite of mine. As someone with celiac disease, it is liberating to be able to order anything on the menu. I have been to both locations many times over the past 6 years. However, recently the prices have sky rocketed and it is VERY expensive to go here. The food is great, but I struggle to justify spending $8 on one piece of cake or $16 on a sandwich. It has become exceptionally expensive to come here, which is discouraging as someone who does not have a choice in their gluten free diet.

We ordered some platters of desserts for a small wedding to ensure that the gluten-free guests had more options — and we ordered enough that everyone could have some. These desserts were a hit with everyone, gluten-free and gluten-eaters alike. We can eat gluten, but we still go back to get their vegan chocolate chip cookies frequently because we loved them so much. And the whole bakery is gluten free, so it’s actually safe for your gluten-free loved ones. (Not everything is vegan, but they do have several vegan options.) They were also lovely to work with in placing and picking up the order.
