The ambiance and comfort indeed hot the spot at Twisted Fork. I can’t fault the service at all. It was really good. I enjoyed a couple of selections from their brew list. Although they don’t serve any on tap, the ones I had were quite good. I did not, however, care much for Billy’s Balsamic pizza. I will say, it was baked just right. I can’t say, however, that it had well-defined flavors. It seemed a bit homogeneous. Thanks for a pleasant meal, but maybe kick it up a notch.

It was a full house due to Birthday party. There was live music from the Moss Brothers. We were lucky to be seated, and we had a wonderful waitress. The calamari was excellent in the cream sauce, the red had a fermented flavor that didn’t pallet well with the dish. The pizza was crisp! The beef short rib had excellent char and was super tender. The mushroom risotto and tomatoes had the similar fermented flavor the (red) tomato sauce had with the calamari. The tomatoes were a bit over done, but mixed in with the risotto it was fine. I will like to try them again on a less busy day for sure.

We ate here tonight for the first time, and we did not leave disappointed! There was a guy singing in the bar area that sounded pretty good, and our service was fantastic. The lady at the front desk was very accommodating as well. I had a burger, and my wife had chicken. My burger was just as I ordered, and the egg that was on it was perfect. As soon as I bit into it, the yolk ran everywhere. My wife’s chicken was also good, as well as the macaroni and cheese. We had the cowboy nachos as an appetizer (wasn’t able to get a pick), and they were also great. We will definitely be back!

What has happened! We come every year for Valentine’s (with reservations) and Anniversary (July). The food takes 40 – 50 minutes and comes back bland. Even this Cajun Seafood Pasta was bland, no seasoning except on the plate rim. Not even the shrimp was grilled, buttered or flavored. This has happened the last two visits. We have been faithful in our visits, but alas, this will probably be our last time. Once again the manager was able to prorate our checks, but I really miss the great food! I hope you guys can pull it together.
