I tried Twisted Plant a second time at State Fair, and it was just as good the 1st time. The vegan choice at the fair was a game changer. I had the pineapple slider which was delicious, and I tried the plant based brat which was absolutely amazing. The food was piping hot and fresh. It was nice to see how busy they were at the fair. The vegan option was a nice offering. I will certainly be visiting the restaurant on Brady. I’m just hoping that I don’t experience the same customer service that the other reviews mentioned. Please Mr. and Mrs. Restaurant owners, can you make sure that your staff is pleasant to the customers as they are who you all need and want. I’m a little concerned about how I’m going to be treated when I come. I hope it is a pleasant experience!!!

One of the best vegan restaurants, a must try. I got the chikn salad for the first time, it was tasty. I wish there were more salad desssing options, and I think the option to have cauliflower bites on top of the salad would be awesome. I didn’t get a pic but the banana pudding!!!!!! So good! I love it here. Good vibes and good service. One of my favorite places to treat myself.

Not vegan but saw this place recommended a lot so wanted to try it! We got a couple of burgers, pickle fries, and the drummies. Sad to say we were a bit disappointed. Could just be personal preference/taste, but it was a bit overpriced for what it was and we were just expecting more. The wait for an online order was longer than expected as well, but the restaurant was pretty busy at the time so understandable. I think the drummies were supposed to be sauced…? But there was no option to choose bbq or hot when ordering it online. Maybe we were supposed to put it in the notes.. Idk, was unclear. Don’t think we’ll be back but I’m sure this spot is great for vegans to grab some grub.

I originally posted a bad review because my order was messed up, but the management was super kind and remade everything exactly the way I wanted it. Their management have great customer service, their front counter people could use some work but overall a good experience there. Burgers are pretty messy but really delicious.

Delicious! I have food allergies so it can be hard for me to find vegan food. They answered all my questions about ingredients so I could eat with confidence. Great atmosphere, food was made to order, parking was easy, and the price super reasonable. Can’t wait to come back!

I got to work with Brandon on some food options for a small event. The food was 10/10 and also incredibly friendly staff to work with. Loved the energy and the vibe of the actual restaurant as well. The group that we served the food to at the event had such positive feedback- best vegan place I’ve been to in a long time!!

I was honestly super impressed with the vegan options in Milwaukee! I love when places do fried pickle spears like this one did!! Both sandwiches we got were super tasty!! We will definitely be back if we find ourselves back in Milwaukee 🙂

I’m really disappointed because I wanted to like this place so much. I am always looking for a comfort “chicken” from time to time but this place is NOT IT. We ordered the munchie platter because we wanted to try a little bit of everything and after spending $50 the only palatable food was the fries, tots, and still smokin burger. The drummies literally tasted like what I imagine the Krabby Patty painted chum from Spongebob would taste like. I have been vegetarian for almost 4 years and have tried a lot of fake meat and this was BAD. The morningstar frozen food is 50x better. The cauliflower, mozz sticks, nuggets and other burgers were also terrible (the how high burger was not terrible, but just ok). There seemed to be something off about each thing. The lemon pepper cauliflower tasted like pickles, the hot sauce had no flavor except for hot, and the “nuggets” were the same smack flattened chum used for the drummies.
