Two Elk Lodge provided much needed rest and refueling for us while we traversed back to Mid-Vail. The service was fast and prompt. The food OK. If there were areas of improvement, Vail Resorts should consider improving the quality of the Chicken tenders and the Pizza (excessive sauce). All in all, glad this lodge is back open and servicing folks.

Two elk is a large, conveniently located spot for eating on the mountain. I brought my food most days, but the fried chicken that others were having smelled good. The prices were very high, but that makes sense for food on the mountain.

Very crowded and not a great food, as most of our 15 people group was not feeling well after having lunch at Two Elk Lodge. But water and drinks were available for purchase in a great selection. Pretty expensive for poor quality and slow service.

See this tiny piece of chicken? These are supposed to be chicken strips.. but there is almost no chicken. It is all breading…This is gruel… not food. Vail used to pride themselves on their EPIC FOOD.. As you can see they have stooped to a new low. Don’t eat here. Spend your money off mountain. The only saving grace was that the manager refunded my money. She was very apologetic and helpful.

Expensive (as you’d imagine at the top of the mountain in Vail), usually pretty packed on the weekend, but really great spot to hang and regroup or meet up if your group gets split up. Can access all types of skiing no matter your skill level. before heading back down to Mid-Vail or Gondola 1 (Vail Village). It has incredible views – 360 degrees.

How can Vail have such an awful selection of on mountain dining? You can eat better in practically any strip mall in a small town. Everything with fries and basically a choice of mediocre burger or average chicken tenders. Could do better.

Large space is beautiful with good food. You are paying on mountian pricing, but that is to be expected. They do offer a free water bottle refill station and cups. This large, stunning building with great views and a true mountain lodge feel is a must stop to warm up and rest.

Two Elk Lodge in Vail (all on mountain dining). Where do I begin, how dare Vail charge $20 for the plate I received. It was supposed to be a cheese burger, but not entirely sure? Shame on you Vail Management, you have gotten to greedy. We have been epic pass holders for many years and I truly cannot wait to try IKON next year. Vail is not what it used to be, save your wads of money and go anywhere but Vail!
