The food was inexpensive and just delicious. Highly recommended it if you want a meatless option. However my husband did enjoy the Pull meat BBQ sandwich.

We chose this tavern because it had good reviews. I had the blackened mahi, and my wife ordered the yellowfin tuna dish. The mahi and the tuna had good seasonings and were tasty. You can order the tuna at the internal temperature you desire. My wife ordered 135, and what was served was more like 60, which she didn’t like. We swapped fish, and she liked my mahi, and I liked the tuna. We both had fresh green beans, and they had barely been cooked. They were tough and crunchy, like raw green beans. We will not return to this establishment.

We LOVED our experience at Two Roads Tavern! The food was outstanding, the service was friendly and fast, and it was a great place for a family just off the beach. We were actually surprised by how good the food was. My daughter’s sirloin was perfectly done and very tasty (she ate every bite, and that’s saying something). Long and short of it is that we had a great experience! Highly recommend! (But, take a sweatshirt. It was a little over air-conditioned.)

Recommended by Ryan from Growlers to go. Its a BAR! But the food was amazingly good. Great beer on tap selection. Their baked oysters were out of this world and I would be back in a second for more. Would like to try their burgers, but I will have to leave that for another time.

We came to Two Roads Tavern based on the Google reviews. First off we were disappointed to find that the oysters are farm raised. Being from New England, we are oyster snobs and only order oysters if they are fresh. Next, we ordered the fried pickles because the reviews were so glowing, we found them VERY salty and the coating mushy. For our meals, we had the spinach salad, the mahi-mahi, and the pickle brine chicken sandwich. Those meals were very good-no complaints. Our server was very attentive.

Rachel was an excellent and friendly server/bartender. She provided us with great recommendations for food and cocktails. Blackened Mahi was fresh and tender. Shaved Ribeye Burger was sooo good. Chelsea’s Passion Punch cocktail was so refreshing and delicious! Highly recommend!!! Can’t say enough great things about Rachel’s friendliness and work ethic!!

Very friendly staff. I enjoyed the Oysters Outter Banks with a side of Mac & Cheese. Mac & Cheese was nothing ordinary than what it is… no other additives that elevate the flavor of it, but he the Oysters were delicious. The Kitty Hawk oysters had a little kick, but not too spicy.

We love the food here at Two Roads. During the height of the pandemic this was the restaurant that we did lots of takeout from. Seafood is amazing! Today we stopped in for lunch and got to sit inside. Food is still amazing & staff is attentive, friendly & on the ball. Definitely our go to for fresh seafood when we are OBX.

Loved it here. Our server, Jack, was awesome. She was very charismatic and attentive. She checked on us often which is always nice. Made us feel like we were being taken care of and seen as actual people instead of just another table to wait on. The food was also very good, I’m definitely a huge fan of the fired pickles and the local brewed beers. Would fully recommend and we plan on visiting again during our next Outer Banks trip.

Perfect fried pickles, perfect brew(lost colony nags head ipa), perfect dinner, and of course perfect service. I asked for medium steak, got medium. My wife wanted medium well(gross) but got it medium well. The seasoning was perfect, beautiful grill marks. Our server was amazing and kept our drinks topped off. We plan to come back to the outer banks again and we WILL make this part of our plans again! Make the trip here!! It’s worth it!!!!!!!
