So my wife who hates bread pudding says, “I heard Two Stones has bread pudding to die for”. What? Last night changed her mind completely and I’ve never had a bread pudding I liked. The dish comes out in a piping hot crock just out of the oven smothered in caramel sauce topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The first taste was confusing as it’s so delicious your brain can’t process it… Do yourself a favor and go get this thing, I promise if you don’t like bread pudding you’ll love it after you’ve had this… We actually went back today for a do-over…

I have driven by this strip mall numerous times, but never realized there was a Two Stones Pub location inside. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but you won’t be disappointed stopping here for a drink and/or some food. We tried a few of their beers and were very pleased with all of them. The food was delicious as well. It happened to be Taco Tuesday and they offer taco specials each week. A couple of the taco variations sounded a bit unusual, but we tried them all and didn’t leave anything on our plates. Feel free to bring the kids too as this restaurant has a few booths and low tops to accommodate kids. They also have a kids menu with plenty of options for $8 including sides and a drink. We’ll definitely be back to try some of their burgers and entrees.

Very nice atmosphere. The lunch menu was delicious. Vegetarians have options as well (veggie burgers). Definitely order the famous fries! They were rated number one in the state of Delaware in the past. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I will be returning again in the future.

My wife and I were very disappointed with our experience last night. She ordered pork schnitzel and it was so over cooked, she couldn’t cut through it with a knife. We informed the waitress, and my asked for a side salad as replacement. The waitress was apologetic, took the pork meal away and brought the side salad which was fine. We were charged for the salad and instead of taking the pork dish off the bill ($22 for an inedible meal), the manager’s remedy was free desert.

Great waitstaff (Hugo). Great beer (Clementine Gose, I don’t like beer but I liked this). Great food (TRUFFLE FRIES and HUDSON VALLEY FOIE GRAS BURGER w/sp fries). Great dessert (maple butter bread pudding (I may have the name wrong but it tastes very right .)
