At Typhoon Noodle we specialize in the noodles and the Authentic Szechuan style. Since it is a Szechuan style most of the food is spicy but we can adjust the spice to your taste. Along with our noodles, we have over 14 flavors of boba and toppings, homemade curry, wok fried rice, and a huge vegetarian selection.

I stopped by try the Noodles. They tasted alright until I started finding unexpected hard, crunchy bits in my dish. I couldn’t tell what they were. I was hoping something benign like eggshells, either way that will probably be my last visit. Too bad I love Thai/ Thai-esque foods.

I had the Pad Thai noodles with chicken. It had good flavor, good presentation, tasted fresh, and it was good. I recommend it, and would get it again. They have a decent selection, I am looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other options. Pricing was decent, you can make it expensive depending on what you order, but it doesn’t have to be. Restaurant was clean, neat, comfortable, had a good atmosphere, wasn’t too loud. Staff were friendly and helpful with decent recommendations on menu items.

The food was awesome and large portions. We enjoyed Pad Thai and chicken lo-men. When you go in you go up to the register and she gives you a menu. After you order you find a table and place your food marker on it. Within 10 minutes we had our food. Our daughter comes here often. We will be back.

EDITED: Plastic was found in my soup!! Bubble teas are good, the fruit ones do not match what is advertised however. The spicy beef noodle soup, is okay but for the price I expected a deep broth profile. I also was a bit disappointed in the lack of tenderness and bland flavor of the beef itself. I understand the raving reviews are coming from people who lack experience with authentic Asian cuisine which is bursting with flavor. And the food was not spicy at all. Without the yummy bubble teas I’d rate this dining experience a two.

This is a cute little noodle spot in downtown Asheville. It was our first time in as we’re visiting from out of town, so we stuck to the basics and ordered Pad Thai. The dish wasn’t out of this world; your typical Pad Thai BUT the flavors were pretty amplified from our usual fare back home. The staff were friendly and welcoming, dining area clean, and restrooms clean and well stocked. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant as opposed to the typical “only here for a paycheck” type of attitude.

First time coming here, honestly it was kind of a bizarre experience. I walk in, and it looks like a modern fast food place. Service was okay, and I had the stir fry udon noodles. I got way too many onions, barely any peppers, and decent amount of zucchini. It tasted okay, like a plain teriyaki sauce or something.

The woman in the glasses that helped us was very nice and helpful! The food and drinks were amazing. We had bubble tea and it was delicious! The tapioca pearls are so chewy. The crab rangoon is so yummy, they’re packed wit flavor! One of my new favorite spots
