Having lived in Mississippi I take my southern food *very* seriously. I’m happy to report that Ty’s is the absolute best. The batter they use for the fried catfish and chicken is better than anything you have ever tasted and every item on the menu is sublime. I will be dreaming about those green beans until I eat them again. This will definitely be a weekly order in our house from now on! I can’t recommend them any higher. 12/10!

I came for the second time, and once I took a bite of my food I felt so silly for not coming back sooner. This establishment is so welcoming and clean. The staff are super friendly, patient and attentive. The food literally reminds me of home and I do not say that lightly. The fish and chicken is seasoned to perfection. The greens are flavorful and done just right. The mac and cheese and yams we’re blessed by the ancestors lol. And I could literally go on and on about everything else I’ve had as well. Also, if they have the curry chicken that day make sure you get it because it is not to be played with. We got it to go so we could have it the next day and it heated up so well and was one of the best things I’ve ever had. I will definitely be coming back as soon as possible. This restaurant is definitely a treasure and deserves all the support and accolades.

Good food in a relaxing environment on a early Saturday afternoon. The sides: dressing, candied yams, greens, mac n cheese, and fried okra were outstanding! The catfish was good along with the fries. The chicken was decent, and the waffle was on point. Will return to try out other things on the menu. The prices raised my eyebrows at first, but don’t sleep in their specials and side platter to stretch your money a little farther.

Usually when I go to Ty’s I just order me some wings because the are the best that I have ever had from any restaurant. But this week I had the catfish dinner with Mac n cheese and greens and cornbread. You know that saying the food was so good it will make you wanna smack your momma!!! Yes it was that good! Everything was perfect! Just make sure after you smack your momma you take her back to Ty’s for some of his delicious food because when you do if you are not her only you will be her favorite!!!!

Let’s start with the staff. The staff that I interacted with was, simply put AMAZING! Pleasant to talk to and very helpful. The establishment itself seemed very clean and organized. And last but not least their food…I would travel out of my way to eat here again. Great price to quality and portion ratio. Keep up the great work.
