They advertise AYCE sushi, but gatekeep the experience so much that it’s not fun. Food is average. Check $50 for one person. You can definitely do better. Just a very fatiguing experience, they pulled my check after one hour and 5 minutes of seating, when it’s supposed to be 90 minutes. They paced what I ordered by delaying table check ins, delivery of orders, so they give you exactly what they think you should get, not what I wanted. I’m not a glutton, but don’t like feeling like I am being controlled by the establishment I’m eating at. Would not eat there again.

It’s the old Tao sushi but the quality is by far better! They also give you premium items as well such as toro, uni, salmon and hamachi belly and more!! Quality is amazing, especially for ayce and it’s also unlimited sake and soft drinks with your meal $41.99 is a fair price especially for this quality!

The sushi was really great and they had quite a variety of options on the AYCE menu. But just a warning be prepared for a big bill! It gets pricey especially when you need to pay the service fee for a larger group.

$41 AYCE and AYCD-hot sake. Well worth the money. Well diverse menu with a good amount of rolls options. Going as a group of 3-4 people would be recommended to allow you to tackle more rolls at once. The hot sake is easy to go down and sashimi plate is well worth it.

$41 for AYCE and drink, it’s a steal! Very fresh everything, from Toro to Uni. The staff is amazing and very accommodating.

i went here and literally wasn’t served for 30 minutes while other tables were being served. we were stuck in a corner seat and ignored. there was a serving limit of 90 minutes and we were ignored. i would rate it a negative 5 it was the worst service for 40.99. you’re better off going literally anywhere else. go to the gentilly’s next door tbh. we got to eat three things before we left. DO NOT COME HERE!!! they were prioritizing other tables leaving ours alone. wish we could get both our time and money back. i was the only mexican person there while everyone was asian. my boyfriend is half-asian and they even didn’t even give us attention. don’t come here if you’re not asian because they won’t serve you. other patrons just laughed and jeered at us while we didn’t get food. they knew we didn’t get food and didn’t speak up while the servers attended to them. the little food we had was not satisfactory. the male server was drinking while working and walked right past us to go smoke a cigarette. the picture shows the man and the next picture is the table we got. i warn again please don’t come here if you’re looking for bad customer service. they were not understaffed every service partner and server could take orders for whichever table of their choosing. i guess we weren’t the chosen ones. we asked what another table got and they didn’t ask to take our order. they also got our order wrong, and handed us a different tables food and while it was on our table took it back and gave it to the other table. very unsanitary. it is unsettling to know they don’t care about being sanitary. they also didn’t check late customers vaccination card. the only reason we ate here was because it was open late and we wanted sushi. shouldve gone to the 7/11 and gotten the premade sushi wouldve been more satisfying and better customer service than here.

It’s not worth the price. Me and my friend went there together out of our curiosity. But we both agree it was not worth it and we would not want to go back again. The fish was dry and not very fresh. They were missing two top items: the fatty tuna and uni which we went there for. Come on, it’s all you can eat sushi, but you are missing the most expensive items and still want to charge people the same price. Make it make sense to me. They will cut you off at one hour of your eating time ( it says 90 minutes on their menu) and straightly tell you it is gonna be your last order. I think if you have $120 for two people, you can eat much better food any where else.

Lots of rules and regulations – only can order 3 of this, max of that, need to wait until the rest of the order comes out, starred ones have a limit, etc. One of the reasons I left SF was because of all the draconian laws, don’t need any more rules on every single order from a mid-tier restaurant

We placed an order on the phone using their website which listed 2 items bento box @$13.95. And 49ers roll @ $10.95. We get there to pick it up two RUDE females said prices went up $2.00 more. We asked them why are the prices different from the website? They rudely asked us to leave if we do not honor the new prices. What poor business sense. I will never order from this place again. And waiter and waitresses are RUDE! They do not belong in the outer Mission
