Servers were friendly. If you want quiet dinner place, this won’t be the place. Very noisy. Grilled squid and pepper fin were excellent. Sushi rolls were so so because the sushi rice was not moist, not enough vinegar and not mixed evenly. Price is reasonable.

Food is delicious, the tempura has the perfect crisp that’s nice and airy, the spicy garlic edamame has the right amount of spice and garlic and the grilled whole squid is great with the garlic butter and spicy kimchi ponzu sauce. The sushi rolls are good we tried a several of them like the bacon me crazy which was my partners favorite, the bond was my favorite and the hot mama was spicy with a combination of Sriracha, habanero and jalapeño. These are just a few of the rolls we tried but we will definitely be back! This place has fresh wasabi as well!

I have been a customer of Umai since the year they opened. there is a consistent high quality of food, staff, and atmosphere. I have always been treated very well, and have always had great food and drinks. One of the best things to happen to the community. there are other restaurants in the area but some are far overpriced for the service you get and the food is not exceptional. I will stick with consistent great food and great service at a fair price.

Very lovely place. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was outstanding. Best sushi Ive had in many years and the bento box for one was kids with terriyaki steak and chicken katsu was a super hit. He loved it,as well as well as seaweed salad. They brought boys food first which was appreciated! Overall wonderful experience.

Excallent service and atmosphere. Clean and modern. Our server was so sweet. She made a mistake on our order and came to us to tell us and fix it before we even noticed, then comped a portion of our bill. Food was fresh and flavorful. We look forward to our next visit!
