This is our new ramen noodle and sushi spot! The atmosphere is amazing, it feels like you are in a different country once you enter and sit down. The staff was very nice and helpful, the food was amazing, and the prices were pretty good. A must try place when you are in the mandarin area if Jacksonville. We will defiantly be back soon!

Japanese curry and ramen with a smile. I just absolutely love this place. Having moved here from the west coast I was so excited to find this place. The food is delicious and the service is always friendly and fantastic. I usually order take out, but this last time we ate in. My 12 year old daughter wanted some ramen for her birthday dinner. As usually it did not disappoint. Her Tonkatsu was on point and absolutely delicious. My katsu curry chicken was fantastic as well. I happily drive the 20 miles it takes me to get here, because I know it won’t disappoint.

I’ve been looking all over Jacksonville for a good curry ramen, and I finally found it on San Jose. Nice little place that seats 40 people. Owners are super nice and accommodating. Broth was excellent and thick, and the meat was super tender. Gonna try the Curry Rice next time I come. Totally recommend…

Out of this world flavor and all around excellent experience. My new favorite Ramen joint in Jacksonville. Service was attentive but a bit rushed when talking to customers. We ordered Ika Gesso (Squid), Edamame, Curry Ramen, and Tonkotsu. Didn’t leave one drop of the Curry Ramen, it was so delicious. Never had pickles in a ramen but it meshed very well. The braised brisket was the most tender and succulent beef I’ve ever had in a ramen. Egg was not too runny. Splash of chili oil rounded the bowl out to perfection. The noodles had the perfect texture of springiness and chewiness. But the broth is really where it’s at. I ordered a Beef Curry Rice to go, because I couldn’t decide between the Ramen and Rice. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend checking this place out.

We were aiming to try the Thai noodle house next door, but saw this little gem on the way over and thought we’d give it a try. The couple who own the restaurant are incredibly talented, and this place deserves far more fame than it’s been given. The Curried Udon was fantastic, and the 12 hour beef was so incredibly tender and flavorful. I built my own curry ramen, and ordered mild with fried squids, peppers, potatoes, and egg. Y’all it was damn near the best meal I’ve eaten since moving to Miami a few months ago. It was soulful, and the different textures and flavors paired well together. Our appetizers were great, and the fluffy Japanese cheesecake was incredible! The murals on the wall were painted by the husband who was in the kitchen, and we were hosted and served by his gracious wife. I’ve included pictures of all the dishes, and really wish I’d gotten a picture of the two of them. They ran the store by themselves, I would highly recommend this place- and will visit and rate five stars every time I come through Jacksonville.

My favorite curry place was back in Connecticut, but damn. Firstly, I’ve never tried Japanese curry till Umani but now I’m hooked. This place is my favorite new curry place, I hope more people try this place out. Soup and other food is amazing too, but that beef curry is fire. Small little place, but that’s how all great things start. Try it.
