Tried this place for the first time, ordered food to go. California roll was good. Was not able to order kids dinner plate since it was to go. Called in order at 4:55PM picked up food at 6PM and still had to wait because food was not ready.

My first time there. I loved it!! The waiter sat down with me and my granddaughter and helped us pick what we wanted by answering all of our questions! He was polite, kind and patient!! Best waiter ever!! And this place has now turned me into a sushi lover!! It was delicious and the plate was beautiful!! If you haven’t tried it, you should!!

I’m a frequent diner at Dong Hae, but we decided to give this place a try, on my first dinner out after knee surgery. Yelp shows they close at 9:00 pm. We arrived at 8:20 pm. I pushed my walker across the big parking lot, and there was a large table of people inside. We were greeted with an “I’m sorry , we decided to close early tonight.” I asked if it was because they were busy and she said “yes.” Shame on them! That’s a bad business practice. Now we are on our way to Sake. Umami, I eat out a lot but won’t be back!

This was a great place, but it has gone terribly downhill. For the second week in a row, I have received terrible food. The sushi I received on Friday was not edible. The owner refused to take the food back and replace it with decent quality fish. What restaurant does that? I have never had a plate of sushi look so bad in my life. These people have no respect for sushi traditions, a sushi restaurant should take more pride in their presentation. I will not return.
