The staff was attentive and helpful in making food choices. Everyone was extremely friendly. Food was not rushed. Time was given for you to fully enjoy your dining experience. The restaurant was clean and wonderfully lit. The food was absolutely perfect. Portions were just right and perfectly seasoned. We will definitely be going back again and again!

Easily the best wood fired pizza around the Glen Cove area. Sat down and had lunch there, the staff was great and very attentive. The bread was fresh and very good. I cannot recommend them enough for excellent Italian food. I will certainly be eating here often. Glen Cove is a tough area with many Italian restaurant choices but this one sticks out as one of the best!

I’ve only had their pizza pie so far, but that is outstanding. I do ask for well done on all my pies, and they hit it perfectly. Bottom is like a good loaf of Italian bread, just on the edge of burning, but not burnt. And as important as the bottom is, the top is not scorched, but still soft as mozz should be.

Not May first time here. Had a sicilian slice as an appetizer and chicken parm hero as my main lunch dish. Pizza was excellent as always. The bread for the hero was perfect, love there sauce and the chicken was on point of course. Great patio area to relax and eat outside or dine inside and feel at home. A+++

The Umberto’s family of restaurants continue to live up to their beloved culinary reputation of genuine Italian flavor with their newest location. My friends and I shared entrees and we were all beyond satisfied. There were some forgivable “Grand Opening” short-comings with the wait staff on our first visit but they all seemed to be resolved by our second visit a week later. The prices are surprisingly moderate for the quality and quantity of the food. The vibe was great mostly because everyone seemed to be really enjoying their meals. If I lived closer, Umberto’s would definitely be my Italian spot.

Actually, we have eaten there twice in the past two weeks. The food is quite tasty and they serve plenty of it with their entrees. Could easily be five stars, but this is a new location and they need to work on their timing in serving the meals. A bit slow the first time we were the and the second time we had to nudge them a bit because we thought they had forgotten about our order.

Guy on the phone refused to do it. What a joke …. this is from a review of Umberto’s of Glen Cove…. I just had the same experience….the man on the phone was so rude….. I could not believe it …. I called the owner Carlo in Wantagh…. He did not care at all…. There are many great Italian restaurants in Glen Cove…that appreciate the customer… However, this is not one of them…..
