My waitress Kylee was absolutely awesome. She was at the table whenever we needed her. She made sure all of our needs were met. She brings a positive atmosphere to the restaurant. I got an angry wife roll and it was AMAZING!!!! I will be coming back because of the service and the great food.

My brother and his family frequented this place, so my wife and I had to give it a try. This place is confusingly good. The Baja roll was one of the best sushi rolls we have EVER had, along with one place in Monterrey, California. The cilantro, tuna, and jalapeño are layered perfectly for the best bite. We love sushi places in Chicago, but this is easily comparable if not better. Loved the drinks as well. Our server Emily was awesome, sweet, and friendly too! Will definitely be back as a meeting spot from some family in Indy and us in Chicago. Thanks for this awesome spot

Tried this place twice. First time I was sat at a table and ignored for over 15 min then waitress brought water and spilled it over chair next to me then walked away – never came back to cleanup. I walked out.

This place did not disappoint. The sushi was crazy good, we really liked our waitress and the bar tender did not skimp out on the alcohol. We ordered off of the chef special menu so we tried the mamacita (it was pretty warm with the jalapeños but oh so good) the 109 (mango and cream cheese mmmm) and the butterfly… tuna and salmon topped with crispy rice… yep… wow. For an appetizer we ordered the shrimp tempura. I had a beer and my wife had the Hassak and both were perfect. We totally recommend this place. The service was the cherry on top.

We were letting someone know about our steak being chew, and mike the manager that we were talking to told us “I know where I get my steak” and how “it’s better then the restaurants around here”. He then told us we don’t have to come back and there’s other restaurants to go eat at. And he also started to tell us “you guys complain everyone you come in” and he wouldn’t stop harassing us.

The sushi was very sub par. You’ll have a better time at Bangkok Thai and sushi in Valparaiso. I also overheard a waitress mention that the staff has a hard time keeping anyone and that makes sense due to the food quality. What I heard in that conversation was the staff can’t afford to pay properly so they make the waitresses stock and go up and down the stairs which isn’t their job so that being said I refuse to support a local restaurant that can’t put a decent meal together and can’t keep their dirty laundry from being aired out. It’s not the staffs fault for complaining, it’s the leadership who don’t pay employees properly.
