This is a sympathy four star review. It was kind of sad to see all three businesses across the street shut down. I hope Uncle Boy’s can stay. We used to come here years ago. Ordering in person at their terminal felt impersonal. The workers were busy having a conversion with themselves and ignoring the customers. No hellos or help with ordering. I had the O.G. burger $9.50 and onion rings $9. My order was for dine-in and they put it a brown paper bag and they didn’t ask if I wanted water or anything else and went back to joking with the other employees. They don’t bring the food out to the parklet. I’m not sure why I tipped. It is one of those fallacies where the option to tip is at the counter and not after the meal. The little 4oz burger tasted OK. It tasted like a Jumbo Jack but with a toasted bun and whole slice of red onion. I really should have went up to Laurel Village and had a Super Duper burger instead. The service is much better there along with the food. But that’s a chain restaurant.

Went there for a quick bite to eat. The place is mainly take out. They do have a parklet. On a good clear day, it would be worth to sit down. I had the Cowboy Burger which was good. The fries were crisp and salted. I think they could offer a little more fries for the price. Overall, if you want a good quick burger to go, this is your place.

Great place to pick up and eat outside or take away. The burger was pretty good, juicy and good. When you get there you need to order your food on a kiosk a the front. I forgot to put cheese on my burger, although it was still pretty good. When you order the machine ask for your phone # I thought it was to for a text to pick up your food. Ours sat for a few before asking, and it was done and sitting on the counter. The fries were stale, not sure if sitting for that time did it or if they were in the tray before they put them in the bag. I would go back and ask for the fries to be fresh!

I had their og burger. I don’t know how they can sell a burger this good for only $9. Fresh ingredients, quick service, can’t wait to go back and try the cowboy.

I visited this place recently for a late-night dinner, since Uncle Boy’s is open wonderfully late. However, after getting a grilled chicken sandwich and O.G. (regular) burger, I was somewhat disappointed. The prices are a bit high for the portion sizes, and both the sandwich and the burger were just alright. I appreciate the friendly attitudes of the staff, but I don’t think I will be coming back for the food (or the 2 high-chair seats) anytime soon.

My favorite burger spot in SF! I have been a loyal customer for years and recently I have been leaning more towards a vegetarian diet. I usually order the cowboy – the best burger ever! Today, I decided to try UBs Veggie Patty and delicious! I am so happy I can still have my fix even though I am a vegetarian! Not only is the food delicious and fast, they are truly about being a part of the community – as they do so much to give back! Love Uncle Boys!

Prices have leapt up all across the menu (+$3 to the burgers and onion rings). The onion rings here are still great, but my recent visit has me questioning the value and cleanliness.

Since it had 4,4 stars in the rating, I expected good burgers. The Fries were really nice but the cowboy burger I had for $11 was a little dry and not satisfying at all.

It’s a super great burger take out place in SF, especially in late night. Every time, I order Cowboy Burger with added Jalapeño and Avocado, and Onion ring with their special cowboy source. Very yummy and fulfilling..
