Avoid the Mac Attack, not worth the cost. My wife and I stopped by their food truck to give them a try. We ordered 2 Mac Attacks, one with brisket and one with pulled pork. When we got home and sat down to enjoy, we found the containers were less than half full. See included photos. Out of curiosity, we even weighed them. Including the container weight, the pulled pork was only 9 oz and the brisket one only 10 oz. Not worth the $29 pre-tax cost. You might as well just purchase their 8oz side of Mac and Cheese for $6.

Plenty of seating on a nice cool day. Sweet yes is flavorful and smooth just like in Texas. Brisket is good. I like mine with lots of fat but they do not have burnt end. Spare ribs were most, lots of meat fat feel of the bone. Easy to get too but watch it for Ct drivers when pulling in they are right up your trunk and might rear end you. They leave no room for error. No wonder so many have accidents

This restaurant posed a dilemma for me. The food was excellent. The sides were terrific. The only disappointment was that the meat tasted like it was cooked in the oven rather than over a wood fire. It was fall off the bone done, but I really like my BBQ smoked. I had the half rack with collard greens and mashed sweet potatoes. Tasty! I think if you were born and raised in New England this will be a five star BBQ restaurant for you. It is far better than any chain BBQ I’ve ever had. But it isn’t quite up to real southern BBQ standards.

I rarely eat BBQ. While out of town I ended up here because it was close. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing. I asked to have cole slaw in there too. Makes it interesting. I had a side of the potato salad too. Friendly staff. Plenty of seats outside and a few inside. Really glad I stopped by for lunch.

This is a Covid 19 review. Uncle D’s is a great choice for bbq. We ordered a pound of the pulled chicken and a pound of the brisket, each with their own sauce on the side. I wish they had more sauces to offer but I can not complain. For the price of the food, I thought we received a good quantity. The flavor was good and a place we will order from again.

This is a small BBQ shack with little indoor seating, but plenty of seats on the covered outdoor patio. Located right off the highway there is plenty of parking and is easy to find. Also, the food is very very good. I enjoyed chopped brisket, ribs, and chicken and found them all phenomenal. The cornbread was also moist, cakey, and a little sweet. A good compliment to the smokey meats.

Uncle D’s food truck is southern BBQ on the go. Since it’s mobile, there isn’t a huge menu but there is still a variety of choices. The staff was friendly and in spite of a line to order, the food came out quickly.

Everything we ordered was great. The Mac and cheese with pulled pork was awesome. I enjoyed the chicken sandwich as well. My mom loved the baked beans. A nice gem in norwich and we will definitely order again.
