Rating = 3.7/5 Very tender and flavorful rib tips but i paid $16 for a small 1 and the amount felt like a mini the fries were well done as i asked but saddly super soaked on oil, the service was alright bc they seem to be in a hurry to close ♂️ might give it another try.

If I could give this Nasty place 0 stars I would give them 10. I ordered a mini link and mini tip this man didn’t explain that 1 link come and fries for 12 dollars to top it off it was 6 fries Burris’s in water down bbq sauce terrible pleaseeeeeeee don’t stop here they need to close this place forever rip off n Rude hag!!!!

After reading the negative reviews, I still opted to try this place. The first staff who took our order was pleasant. The second person, not so much. After waiting a very long time for our food, he saw us standing by the counter, walked up and just looked at us. Very odd. He didn’t say anything, just glared. Soon we ascertained he wanted us to give him our receipt with our order number. Fast forward to the food. The rib tips were as leathery and burnt. The hot links were ok. We did receive 3 hot links in the jumbo size but 1 was shorter than the other 2.

I’m sorry I gave this place a try.. when I walked in I almost turned back around the place looks so filthy and uninviting no decor and looks run down but I said ok ur here so let’s try this.. the tips were so tough I couldn’t even pull the fat off and the links has some type of sage or something I just didn’t like it … the sauce however was good and the coleslaw, fries, and the Mac and cheese was decent but nothing to scream about .. safe to say I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK! 1 and DONE! And I paid $28 for a small link and tip with a side ♀️ never ever again I gave the rest away waste of my money

Today I visited Uncle John’s Bar-B-Que in Homewood IL and truly enjoyed my experience both with the personnel and combo rib tips/hot links! Our dinner was tender, juicy and seasoned, not stingy! The owner showed personal interest and the atmosphere musical and delightful. I am a fan now and will be going back regularly Please patronize this awesome restaurant as you experience satisfaction! Ordered rib tips chopped small, instead got tough huge rib tips with sauce that had a strange taste. Chicken wings that was tough, old and look like they battered them in dirt, they had a very dark color to them and they look like they had been reheated a million times. Suppose to be 6 wings and one of the wings had the nerve to be just half a wing. You all need to be shame horrible just down right awful. No decent fast food restaurant anywhere in south suburbs of illinois or northwest indiana especially barbecue. Just really a pitiful shame.

This place is horrible they bbq sauce is watered down there is no type of taste to their meat spoke with the cook he was very rude and told me the bbq sauce is the taste it taste as if they are trying to stretch the sauce everyone that works here is very rude and they do not issue refunds the cashier does not have any professionalism about her PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE after speaking to the owner whom was very rude and ignorant took no accountability or even wanted to here criticism I asked if she read the reviews she stated yes so how as a business owner you are ok with all of these bad reviews if you noticed not one review has been responded to…please read every review before purchasing every review I have seen on here speaks of how disgusting this place is there is no way they have this many bad review and are still in business or have not tried to make a change to their recipe I had to give my food to a homeless man I seen walking so my money wouldn’t go to waste

First time customer here, and sadly they gave me the wrong order. I ordered a small hot link with a mix of hot and mild sauce. When I got home I discovered they gave me rib tips instead. They were too far away from me to turn around and I was super hungry. I tasted a bit of it but it wasn’t what I wanted so I didn’t even eat the meal. When I called to inform them of their mistake, the young man was silent after coughing for a minute. He then said ” SO WHAT DO YOU WANT? To come in and get the order?”
