Our visit here was incredibly disappointing. Even with a reservation it took us 30 minutes to get seated. Our service was ridiculously slow. We didn’t even get water for 15 to 20 minutes. Once the food finally arrived an hour after we sat down, it was mediocre at best. Others with us said they have been here before and the service was not ever this bad. I would not recommend this place for the food even if the service is better next time around. Relatively Bland standard Mexican food. Support a local small business owner instead.

Surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night. They seemed well equipped to handle the volume though. Great selection of margaritas. We did not try the table-side guacamole, but it looked fantastic. I wish they served their amazing pico de gallo with the chips at seating and it was too loud to converse, but the food and service we’re great!

What can I say, this place has the most amazing, FRESH food! Every time we go, we love it. There’s not one thing we’ve tried off the menu that wasn’t incredible. The staff here are always great as well. If you’re considering this place, definitely check it out, you won’t be sorry. (My only negative is they over charge for extra sour cream. If you’re gonna charge that much, bring more in the ramekin please.)

Nice new location in Kildeer. We had the steak and chicken fajitas for 2. Chicken was good the steak was a little grisly and undercooked. Could of used some more guacamole and pico. The fresh chips were light and very tasty. The chocolate pinata looked like a hit with a lot of guests. We’ll try it next time.

Spur of the moment decision to go to Uncle Julio’s paid off. 40 minute long wait for two people at 7pm on Saturday night. But two were leaving from the bar so we sat there immediately instead. Their basic margaritas are great! Appetizer was shrimp wrapped with bacon in habanero sauce. IMO, a bit too long in the broiler, they were DONE. Chicken enchiladas saved the meal. Moist tender shreds of chicken in a wrap under their green hatch sauce. Wife got the combo enchiladas with all the sauces.

Carne Asada aged for 26 days tastes out of this world amazing! The service was great and the chocolate piñata was a real treat. You crack that thing open and a ton of goodies come out enough for a table of 7. I’m surprised to not see any 360 pictures inside this place however online it’s Tex-mex modern flare in here is siiiick!
