Limited menu. Poor service. Overpriced! Maybe three strips of peppers in the Chicken Fajitas. Little sauce in the pulled chicken enchiladas – cubed chicken and not pulled chicken. The highlight of the meal was the Quesa-Birria – VERY TASTY.

Uncle Julio’s is a popular Tex-Mex chain that offers a wide variety of dishes, from classic favorites like fajitas and enchiladas to more unique options like the mesquite-grilled salmon. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is festive and lively, making it a great place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a night out with friends.

We’ve been meaning to go since Uncle Julio’s opened! Just went tonight. It was delicious!!! I wish I had taken pictures of the food. But we ate it before I thought of posting a review. We highly recommend!!! Great staff, fast service, delicious food. It was just amazing! The leftovers were eaten by our kids the moment we arrived home. They approve, enthusiastically!

Salsa is weird and quesadilla appetizer was gigantic and tasteless. Guacamole tasted like it was frozen. Just yuck. Bartender was nice tho

Visited during the Friday evening rush hour but loved the ambience, food and service. The portions were pretty big so we didn’t order as many items as we’d initially anticipated. They served complimentary chips and salsa of which we got a couple of salsa refills. For drinks, we had the Fresh Margarita Of The Month and Julio’s Gold. For food, we had the Grilled Fish Tacos and the Pechuga de Pollo. Loved everything. Highly recommend!

I’m so sad to be writing this review. My husband and I have eaten here many times. The first time, we had such an amazing experience all around that it immediately became one of our favorite date night spots and I left a 5-star review. I even chose this restaurant to host an event last summer. I love the signature drink: The Swirl. Unfortunately, the last several visits have been a huge disappointment. They seem to always be understaffed, the drinks take forever, and the quality of the food has diminished. Tonight, we decided to give it one last shot, but it was the nail in the coffin. No one was at the hostess stand when we came in so, we walked over to the bar. The bar was closed because the bartender was a no-show, so we were escorted back to the hostess stand to be sat. There were only about 6 tables in the entire restaurant. Our drinks (one of which comes out of a machine) took longer than our appetizer to make it to the table. The shrimp in my tacos appeared undercooked (one shrimp was translucent and grey). The rice was either undercooked or had hardened from sitting. My husband’s steak was cooked nicely but the entree was overall mediocre. Our waitress was sweet, but she made the mistake of dropping off our check as soon as we finished our entrees and without asking if we were done. We had only had 1 round of drinks and we had just finished with our entrees. My husband had pushed his empty drink glass to the edge of the table to signal for a refill. It was date night and we were planning on a second round of drinks and a dessert. Yes, we could have said something, but at this point we were frustrated and ready to go. It was only after we had paid our check that she asked if she could get us anything else. Too late. I’m mostly writing this review because I’m sad this place is not thriving. It started off great, but my husband and I decided tonight will be our last visit. Bummer.

The free salsa brought to the table may be the best I have eaten in my entire life. I ordered bacon wrapped shrimp and chicken fajitas. Not even sure there are words in the English language that can explain how good this was. Will definitely be back in the future.

The ambiance here was wonderful, as was the service. While they didn’t have a vast selection of vegetarian options for me, the vegetable fajitas with corn tortillas, instead of flour (to make them gluten free), definitely hit the spot. The house margarita on the rocks with salt was also exactly what I was looking for. So, overall, this was a great place to meet up for a business dinner. I will definitely be back in the near future!
