I love that a Japanese cheesecake shop has opened up in Austin! I was so excited when I found out the news so I went to go check it out myself. The interior is small but cute! The service was kind and helpful. As soon as I walked in, the cashier offered me samples to try. I went for the coffee flavor and it just melted in my mouth. It was super delicious, soft, fluffy, and kind of creamy. The coffee flavor was very subtle and not overwhelming. I went home with a whole coffee cheesecake and to me, the prices are really reasonable for what you get. I truly recommend this place! Can’t wait to try the other flavors!

Wiggly fluffy and not so sweet cheesecake! Must try! Super delicious. We tried the Original, but they also have strawberry, coffee, ube and chocolate flavors. They allow tasting and folks there are super nice and patient.

It’s very nice to see Uncle Tetsu opening in Austin, Texas. I have been dying to try their cheesecake. The store associate was very friendly, helpful and mannered. Overall feeling from the first step into the store was very positive. The cheesecake was delicious, fluffy and not overly sweet. We got an original flavor this time. I will try Ube next time.

The cheesecake was soft and fluffy. Bought the strawberry cheesecake. It could have used a bit more strawberry as the flavor didn’t come across. Besides the lack of strawberry flavor it was a good cheesecake. Will have to come back and try their other flavors.

Very good cheesecake; fluffy, airy, less dense than American cheesecake. My favorite flavor was Ube. The line queue was confusing; they need more line guides (like posts or ropes) for people to know where the line goes. And they should offer a combination package with 4 different flavors. I hated having to commit to 1 flavor! So I bought 3 to try but my bill was $60!

I got 4 cakes in total. They are a lot smaller than what I’m used to getting. Usually, I pay $23 for a bigger cake than the one we got, but we have to drive to Houston if we want it bigger. The Ube cake was perfect, along with the original. The strawberry flavored one needs a little more strawberry flavor.. I also tried the different cheesecake that was a little more moist. Which is the darker purple one you see in my pictures.. Im not sure the name or flavor of that one but it was also very delicious. The staff is so nice, except for when the girl tried to feed me the sample , which made me a little uncomfortable.. If you haven’t tried it, you should..

This is my first time trying the cheesecake and from the store. And I have to say it’s the best I had. I have wish I had stopped by sooner before. I leave back home because it’s just so soft and moist. I will be buying more before I leave back home and taking some to my family and friends.

Tried the ube, original and strawberry! Great and I recommend eating this at room temp if you don’t eat all at once. They have pandan coconut flavor as a special flavor currently
