This place is on the decline, which sucks. I have always liked coming here for breakfast. Friendly service. I have not eaten here in a couple years.’ Everything we ordered was slapped together and thrown on a plate. Product rotation should be addressed, the stuffed french toast is cream cheese crammed into a piece of French Toast, we had this before here, and its recipe was better and different. Hoping this place can make a turn around because our last visit the food was horrible. I highly recommend recipe changes or training the current cook.

I placed a call in order and it was brought out to me as soon as I arrived. Fast and friendly service. And the food? OMG it was so good. I tried the Irish Skillet and I was very pleased with my meal. Very generous portion sizes, light fluffy eggs, excellent packaging….I’ve definitely found my new breakfast spot!

My husband and I love trying new breakfast spots especially since it’s our only time to be kids free. So this was one we looked up and decided to try. The place wasn’t too busy as there was a full booth and a table full of ppl there besides us. The location is a bit hidden behind some other places but we managed to find it ok. The parking lot is a tad small but outside of what I can assume was the staff cars and the customers there we didnt have a problem finding a space. The staff was very friendly not too talkative but kind of the perfect amount of chit chat. I will say thou when it came to service we waited more than average time we’ve spent other places waiting for our food it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience but it was noticeable. The food itself was ok nothing too special and the price was fitting I think we spent about 20-25.00 in total for the 2 of us but again the food was ok. The pancakes we ordered were a bit tough and the eggs needed some seasoning. My husband managed to finish his omelet and some of his pancakes but didn’t finish the rest and I took portions of my food home but in the end pitched them. I wouldn’t say it’s of the places we’ve tried (Hyvee, Pancake house, Fort Jesse, etc.) up there. It’s a nice little place but for us the food and service could be a little better.

Had an awesome breakfast. Great Customer service! Ordered the steak and eggs ribeye came out a little too rate they put it back on and it was fabulous eggs were cooked perfect too and very good. Did not care for the hashbrowns as they were more like a clump of potatoes. Pancakes were also tremendous. My wife had the Buffalo chicken tenders and fries and she liked those. Very large portions and great pricing. If you have not experienced this establishment I highly suggest it. Very big menu also. Thanks Uncle Tom’s for the great breakfast we will be back!!

I came with my family for a college visit at ISU. We were seated right away and the restaurant is very clean. The smell of fresh pancakes in the environment is delicious. The Mexican skillet was good. The eggs were cool to perfection. The hash browns in the skillet needed a bit more grated onions to improve the taste. My kids loved their pancakes and my wife liked her strawberry crapes.

We just happened upon this place! The food is very good! I got a skillet, and my husband got the steak and eggs. The steak was VERY well seasoned and cooked exactly as asked! The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive and the food didn’t take long to get to our table, and they were swamped!! I heard one person complain about the fee if using a card to pay! Why should small businesses have to eat that fee!l?!?

Yum yum yum! Went here for the first time and was not disappointed. I had the bacon and avacado omelet with stuffed French toast, both where absolutely delicious! My fiance got the house pancakes, let’s just say there were none left by the time I finished my feast. Only ‘meh’ thing is that the coffee was just OK, nothing to write home about but did the job and rounded out our late breakfast/early lunch. Wait staff was super kind and on top of everything! Definitely will have to stop in again!
