Uncle Wang’s Alley is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have ever been to. The food is fresh and authentic, each dish had its own flavor. We got eight different meals to try. The spicy lamb ribs and crispy pork were excellent. The duck was also cooked perfectly. Everything was seasoned well, some dishes were spicy, but not too spicy if you don’t eat the peppers. The place was very busy which on a Friday night which is great to see. They just opened up under new management, I definitely recommend eating here if you want authentic Chinese cuisine.

I had a lovely egg drop soup with vegetable Spring rolls. They have a wonderful Peking Duck here. It’s enough for 4 people. They also used the bones to make a Duck soup, Enough to feed a family. It was very Tasty and a cold windy day. This restaurant had just opened a month from what I understood from my server. My server was a wonderful lady from China. She said one of the reasons she chose to work for Uncle Wang’s Alley was they had such Peking Duck and it reminded her of home.

First time here…delicious!! Had the scallion pancake, pork potstickers, Mongolian beef, sweet and sour chicken. Everything had really great flavor…Mongolian beef was the best I’ve ever had!! More authentic than some other Chinese restaurants but they have two different menus to choose from so there’s something for everyone. Truly flavorful food and great portions too! We’ll be back!!

Dear Uncle Wang, I really liked your place. But this time it is really disappointing. How come 蒜泥白肉 has only six pieces? This is insulting to your culture, my culture, and all Asian people in US. Out of all places in Bloomington – I will be taking my parents HERE for Dinner when I graduate. The food is absolutely amazing, the service is VERY good, and if I want to customize/tweak something from the menu, they are MORE than willing.
