My 1st time eating here. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for those who enjoy food with a lot of flavor. The food for my taste was very bland. The macaroni was overcooked. The dressing was good. The fried chicken could use more seasoning but hot sauce helped. The yams where whipped and not flavored at all. I tried to doctor it up.. no luck. I think if the cooks seasoned the food it would tasted better. I will not be returning or recommending this establishment to anyone. The staff was nice and friendly. I spent about $20 for a 4 piece fried with two sides and added an extra. The price point is decent. Giving two stars for service. I believe if they SEASON the food and don’t over cook it, there business would pick up.

Me and my mama love us some Uncle Willie! Any time we are on his side of town we are definitely stopping by to support! Not only does he have amazing energy but the food is always delicious and we can tell he’s cooking with love. Our favorite thing on his menu are his fried chicken wings! Hunnnie these are better than JJ Fish. My mom loved the turkey wings and baked chicken. I really loved the smothered pork chops and the southern ribs. Uncle Willie will definitely have our continued business!

My husband , my sister and myself stopped in on Uncle Willie’s Soul Food for the first time on this past Thursday. We had been seeing the signs about having a new soul food restaurant right here in Stone Mountain. He certainly DID NOT disappoint! The food was excellent. My husband had the smothered chicken that he said was superb! I had a side order of the okra and tomatoes and it was delicious. We went back two days later so my sister could get her another order of that delicious meatloaf. It’s a MUST TRY! You will not be disappointed. Welcome to our neighborhood

I was so hoping to have a positive experience at this location particularly because my first choice was a Soul food spot off off Mt Industrial near 78. As a community more conscientious effort MUST be extended to keep us in the very best of health. The excessive Salt in the black eye peas tasted like brine with little flavour!! Even going hm to boil down ot was still VERY salty! At least it may be said that we patronized, though the cost also didn’t match the quality of the diah or portion!

Yall first of all let us bow our heads and bless this food and the hands that prepared it for the nourishment of our body’s and food for the soul. Amen and amen! I could not have been more satisfied with the food and hospitality here. I loved that the sides were meat free however every bite was simple and delicious. Everything made fresh like grandma only it’s Uncle Willie burning in the kitchen. What a treat for anyone missing Grandma’s cookin!
