This place was really good. We ordered the Angus Burger combo, and if I am back in the area, I’d definitely return. The fries are delicious, but I would have liked them a little extra crispy. The burgers are huge, I really think my husband and I could have shared a burger, but we also had just finished walking around in the Houston heat at the Farmers Market, so maybe we were just too hot. The atmosphere is perfect. It is just a small burger joint, and it is kept nice and tidy, and the music is FANTASTIC.

Ok so this place is literally a hole in the wall but that is exactly how you want it to be. The burger and chicken sandwich that we got were cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. The hand cut fries are awesome! If you are going to the Houston Farmers Market, you definitely want to try out Underbelly!

This is a great addition to Houston’s Farmers Market. The menu is only a few items and the place is tiny but the burgers are great. I had the Angus burger and I enjoyed it a lot. It’s obviously more expensive than a fast food burger place but it’s well worth it. You definitely get what you pay for because they deliver a ton more value. Combine with a walk around the farmers market for a pretty good time out. The menu and dining room are very basic but overall great experience.

Great burger, cute spot with the farmers market and green space for kids to roam. Priced a bit high. Also the fries are shareable even if you get the meal and not a la carte. So we could have ordered one meal and one stand alone burger and been totally fine! Will definitely be back.

When my friend hyped this place up I was excited to try it. Instead, I was left very underwhelmed. The menu has limited options. I went with the traditional angus burger. The meat was not seasoned. The burger itself was very bland. The fries were mushy as well. I tried some of my friend’s chicken sandwich and that was just as bad. I could tell the chicken was fried in burnt old oil. The drink options are also limited. I got soda cause there wasn’t much else to choose from. Highly disappointed and will not be back.

Pretty good price for a decent burger. Only complaint is bottom bun size isn’t big enough to keep you from holding your meat

Delicious dinner style burgers with high quality ingredients. I had the wagyu beef and it hit the spot. The fries are completely different than anything I’ve had and they are so yummy. I hope they stay around for a while because I think I just found my new favorite burger place in the neighborhood.

This family of foodies thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Kale salad for the vegetarian ✔ chicken sandwich for me ✔ and wagyu burgers for everyone else ✔. Definitely get the fries!! Crispy scooped goodness. We went on a Saturday and had to wait quite a bit for our food but it was worth it and we enjoyed the nice picnic. Not the cheapest burger meal but you get what you pay for.

Underbelly Burger is located within the Houston Farmers Market in the Heights area. I’ll be honest, I didn’t even know there was a farmers market here, so it was pretty exciting to see something like this in Houston.
