We came here for the Rhode Island food fights tacos and left with happy faces and a belly full. The tacos were phenomenal, my mom got ground beef tacos and I got chicken. It was very flavorful and I like that we get to sit at the bar to eat them. The guacamole is really good too, highly recommend you stop by.

Came here as part of the Taco Mania! experience. It’s a cute spot and maybe service is better at the bar and take out which seems to be most of their business. Service for dine-in was terrible. It took 37 minutes to get our food! We ordered chicken nachos and got ground beef. It was mostly dry chips with only a few in the middle having some cheese and a little pocket of meat. We ordered a cheese quesadilla (which is advertised as just having a melted blend of cheese) + chicken and instead received their quesadilla which included lots of other ingredients inside. Asked for 2 chicken tacos and 2 beef. Only received one of each. Asked for a water and instead received a water with lemon (another person at our table had previously asked for water with lemon and received just that so maybe she thought it was for that person but still inaccurate). Very disappointing experience.

Came to visit Union Burrito using my RI Food Fights Taco Passport. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. When we arrived, it was about 25 minutes before close and most of the available items were being put away but they were kind enough to still make my tacos. I asked for 1 chicken and 1 beef but received 2 beef. The meat with onion and cilantro had nice flavor in it’s simplicity and has been one of the better tacos I’ve had so far using the passport; however, I wish I was also able to try to chicken. Parking was easy at night but I could see it being an issue during the day. I love their creative logo!

I have been coming here since this place opened and within the past year, all the changes has really made it a frustrating experience. The new order kiosk is just awkward to use. Luckily when I went, there was not anyone else ordering in. If there was, I could imagine there would be a line. An order that would normally take me a short time to order through someone, took me much longer instead due to slow navigation of the kiosk. After I was able to order, my food was then made twice. That’s not a complaint, just a side effect of the kiosk I suppose. One of my orders was made and just set off to the side after being finished without letting me know. The other person who made my order was kind enough to let me know it was ready. It would also be nice to somehow label the burritos if you order more than one. We ordered three burritos, without them being labeled, we have to open them up to find out who each burritos belongs to. Once again, no issues with the quality of food, just the process of getting the food.

I would give this place 5 stars only if I was rating the bar. Would ONLY come here again for the drinks and churros! The food isn’t that great. Not to mention my taco had moldy cheese. Took it back to get remade and order came back wrong. Flavorless ground beef, guacamole and salsa both tasted like they were from a can. It’s unfortunate because the drinks and bar vibes are great, if they get the food quality up this place would be perfect!

I ordered a barbecue chicken quesadilla and my boyfriend ordered a burrito. It sucked! It was soggy, not grilled chicken at all!!! . Not to mention he kept coughing and sneezing! Disgusting, greasy and their was no crisp or grill marks at all. $30 I could’ve eaten better at Taco Bell!
