I absolutely love this place. I haven’t been upstairs yet but the food and service were amazing. I just want to recognize one of our servers that had the best recommendations and always showed up with a smile… Angela is amazing. I included some photos of the dishes we ordered. Their sushi is so incredibly good and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant, great for date nights.

I was expecting to be wowed by this spectacular restaurant and I was. Just like Forbici and Buoulon Brasserie, Union New American did not disappoint. Impressed with an elegant interior with beautiful greenery and flowers both inside and outside, absolutely incredible service by Diana F. and the rest of the service team, starting with hostesses ending with food runners. My friend and I both opted in for a delicious cocktail called LYCHEE LOVER. It was so good we had to get a second round. For an appetizer we chose WOOD FIRED SHRIMP and I have to say, that Garlic Butter Sauce is everything!! As a main course my friend ordered KOREAN BBQ SALMON and I got CRUNCHY TUNA sushi. Truthfully, $24 for each roll is a bit overpriced, however, both were tasty. We opted it for an Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert. It was pretty good as well, but not the best apple pie I have ever had. Overall, definitely a great experience with the superb level of service. We were there for 3 hours, talking and enjoying our time, and I appreciated the fact that we were not rushed by anyone.

Loved the atmosphere, beautifully decorated. Kinda noisy but lively. Great location and I like that that have valet. Great service and food is delicious. We had the Union sushi roll and the biscuits which were super tasty. Then, for mains the ribeye and was perfectly cooked with the crispy potato and the pork dish with the shrimp fried rice was my favorite. Didn’t have room for the desserts this time but definitely will try next time. Yummy

I recently visited Union New American in Tampa, Florida, and I have to say, it was an exceptional dining experience. The decor was modern and chic, with a touch of rustic charm. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and made wonderful recommendations. I tried several different drinks throughout the night, and each one was expertly crafted and delicious. Overall, I cannot recommend Union New American enough. The atmosphere, service, and drinks were all top-notch and made for an unforgettable dining experience. If you’re in the Tampa area and looking for a great meal, this is definitely the place to go. Five stars all around!

Brand new high end dining experience in Tampa. The service here is too notch and that also goes for the food. We had drinks upstairs in the bar while waiting for our table. It’s a cool rooftop and you can see part of the sunset. Nice chill bar.

I was expecting to be wowed but I was underwhelmed. The best part of our meal was the bread. Glazed with duck fat and sprinkled with course salt… delicious! The side of roasted cauliflower was underdone (water from the veggie filled the base of the dish. A true roasted veggie won’t weep) and lacking flavor throughout the dish. Some pieces had flavor, some were plain boiled, pieces of cauliflower. For my main, I had the Union roll (Alaskan king crab and waygu tartar). The overall flavor didn’t compliment the tartar and overwhelmed the crab. It wasn’t a balanced dish. They’ve only been open a month so I hope tweaks to the dishes are coming.

Went here while on vacation this weekend. Our waiter Andrea was absolutely fantastic! The sushi that I had was the best sushi roll I have had outside of Japan. It was so good. The biscuits appetizer(gluten free!) was also great and the staff was accomodating to my gluten allergy. We really enjoyed our time here and loved the ambiance for our date night. Thanks for a great dining experience!

Absolutely incredible dining experience! So good I’ve already made my reservation to come back next week. We ordered the Parker House Milk Bread and Japanese Sweet Potatoes. Both were to die for! Definitely ordering again. We then shared the Caesar salad and the crunchy tuna sushi roll and my friend ordered the vegan enchiladas. The sushi was so fresh and the salad was flavorful and a great portion. We ended the night with Tableside espresso martinis and cookies & milk! Great service and our server + manager were helpful and gave amazing recommendations. Definitely make this your next date night spot.

Awesome Friday night atmosphere. A great place to hang out with friends. This place is absolutely stunning, clean and stylish. Creative and interesting food, they have a variety of food but I am a sushi lover so I ordered union sushi and I had never eaten such delicious sushi, an explosion of flavors, the truffle mayo has no explanation, exquisite!!! It should be noted that the food was served super fast for how busy it seemed! The host’s service is excellent, very friendly and attentive! Definitely coming back.
