So glad we tried this place! They have something for everyone and the flavors all hit the right spots. I got the calzone, was like deep dish meets stuffed crust but neither overwhelming, they blended perfectly. My wife got the philly cheese steak and she said it was “delicious, and the veggies were fresh. Potato salad had a hint of curry, very good.” Son had the big johns club sandwich and this kid eats like a panda bear and he couldn’t finish. We’re all to full to have one of the milkshakes they offer, even though the flavors look really good. Check this place out, you won’t regret it. Ooh and what I’m guessing are house made cookies. Very tasty.

They serve Olympic Mountain ice cream, which is why we stopped. Delicious. Tried a coffee as well, roasted by Dancing Goats. Really good. Will come back and try their sandwiches and pizza.

Cute little deli with pizza/salads/appetizers as well as delicious ice cream and coffee with a drive through window. They sometimes have live music, and their indoor bar/seating has a great vibe/atmosphere. The staff is nice and deals with all the super bizarre local characters very patiently. The pricing is tourist trap pricing, so be prepared for that. We paid way more for two ice cream cones then we would anywhere else I think it was $16.

Such a fun place. The Sunday we went was open mic and we sat outside, enjoying the weather, good music, and really good pizza! We started with a pretzel to share and it was mediocre, obviously a frozen costco one, with really thin nacho cheese. But the pizza was one of the best. Definitely worth a stop for a quick lunch after a morning hike or before an afternoon walk along the water.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the deli and I wish I could eat a Big John’s Club every day of the week but my only qualm with our small town deli is that depending on who is on the phone or register, you receive different levels of service – often friendly but sometimes, annoyed, making me feel like I’m an inconvenience.

Balanced Brain Podcast
This place used to have the best soft pretzels (3 large sticks) and dip. The price was a little high but well worth it, until they began down sizing their pretzels. First to 1 large pretzel which was acceptable, but now they’ve downgraded yet again to these mini bites for the same price. 8 small frozen bites of food for over 10 bucks! Wtf…
