Do not sleep on this tiny place. I’ve never had food from this region of India, but every bite had me tasting a new flavor I’ve never had. Incredibly unique, incredibly flavorful but nothing is too overpowering. Never having been there I was able to sample the dishes before making my decision which is unheard of from anything other than an ice cream shop. There is a lot of love, care and pride in his food and I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

I stopped in for a take away menu and walked out with lunch for the missus and I. I looked at the menu and realized there was almost nothing I had seen before. Chef was patient and proud to explain his cuisine, a bit about the region, and his story. The food was delicious and we’ll certainly be back soon to try additional dishes.

Unni’s was a great introduction to South Indian cuisine-everything we tried was delicious but the beef curry was especially good! If you like spicy, flavorful food and would like to try something a little different then we highly recommend Unni’s. The owner is very amiable and helpful if you’re not sure what to get, and it’s clear he is passionate about his cooking! Great place, will definitely be returning.

The owner could not be nicer and took time to explain each dish, the ingredients, and the authentic nature of the cuisine he clearly loves. The food was delicious, several tastes being new to us, and portions were plentiful. There are many vegan offerings.
