They’re pulling a delicious Ethiopia+Guatemala blend. After three days of not drinking coffee, it literally brought tears to my eyes. This is as good as the best espresso drinks I’ve had at the best shops in major cities. Bravo, Unravel!

Great little spot for a coffee and remote working station! The matcha latte was delicious. The workers were pleasant and the music made the atmosphere that much better. I’ll definitely come back!

Ambience and space is beautiful..espresso is fine, but man was I disappointed in my sandwich, soggy wet bread, barely any meat for a “grinder” I guess I had higher expectations. But leave it to Aspen to pay $20 for a sandwich that’s mostly bread and lettuce.

I went here after being let down from another coffee shop in town and was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was amazing, the staff was friendly and attentive, the inside and atmosphere is gorgeous, and it was a wonderful experience. HIGHLY recommend if you’re local or visiting on your trip.

For anyone else looking for specialty, third-wave coffee in Aspen, you should try Unravel. They have Ethiopian light roasts, an EK43 and a Slayer. It’s a relatively new shop and didn’t have most of this information on Google Maps, so hoping this helps others find it.

Aspen needed a new coffeeshop/casual lunch spot and Unravel delivers.. but not more than that. Decent place but nothing outstanding. Had an oat milk latte, didn’t try any food

A pleasant and expansive space for coffee, tea, and some food. The atmosphere is convivial, relaxed, and calm. The people who work here are wonderful and the location is right in the heart of Aspen across from The Wheeler Opera House. Sadly, Unravel suffers from the same problem that plagues every coffee spot around the world: punters who believe they have a right to have a loud conversation/zoom call and disturb everyone’s peace. How I wish there could be a solution to this problem. But if you’re looking for a really great coffee shop in Aspen, start with Unravel.

Acai bowl is outstanding. Had a smoothie to go (also outstanding), and it came in a handy jar that was easy to carry, put in a pack, or store. The staff is very friendly. Store has a nice vibe and is located at about the most convenient location in Aspen. Plus, they open at 7a so you can get your started early. Clever logo too.
