So delicious!! We happened to be en route to South Padre Island. The BBQ was amazing. Small place but there are 2 picnic tables or you can take it to go. My chopped bbq sandwich was so full of meat. My moms baked potato was massive also. I think she ate it for 3 meals. Anyway, highly highly recommend!

Small bbq place I found while on the road. Got the baked potato from the photos i saw in the other reviews.. it was a big portion and so satisfying. Brisket was soft and flavorful with perfect amount of toppings. Staff is friendly and the place has character! Next time will try more items on the menu

Best brisket I have had in a while …ordered 2 plates with brisket, rib, and sausage and a few of brisket tacos for the kids…they loved them as well. Def will go back..was worth the drive.

Best Bar-B-Que! Me and my husband tried ribs, sausage, brisket, baked potato with brisket, with sides of potato salad, rice, and beans. Canned drinks that are included with meal were cold. The staff was friendly and asked us if we needed anything else while we ate our food in their outdoor picnic table. We recommend this Bar-B-Que place

I came because of the high ratings and this place did not disappoint. Everything we tried here was delicious. You can tell there is a great amount of pride that goes into their food. The portions are also very reasonably priced. I would try to describe the food but you can see the perfection in the pictures. The staff were also very helpful and courteous. This place is more for take out, there are a couple of tables for sitting or maybe waiting. I am definitely coming back.

The food at Up in Smoke is incredible the cherry flavor with the Mesquite Smoke on the meats just melt in your mouth the people are friendly they’re great at service they can be busy at times but I’m telling you when there’s a busiest you know the food is great get there early get there often and just order to your heart’s content if I was a professional food reviewer from 1 to 10, I give him a 13
