We finally broke down and tried this place, and man was the hype correct. Great little place with amazing food. The BEST pimento cheese we’ve ever had. Definitely on my top 5 on chicken salad list as well. I’d put it up there with DiPratos and the Gourmet Shop. The portions for the most part are huge and well worth the money. The one complaint I will put in is that the Belgian Waffle, while amazingly good was a very small portion for the price. There should be two waffles that come with the order. I had to order more food for my son because the one was not enough. But again, he loved it. And let me tell you people the Brick Oven Pizza was absolutely amazing. Loved the place and we will be back! Antonio took great care of us and is an excellent waiter. We would hope that in the future they would enclose the porch to allow for more seating in all weather conditions. We want this place to grow! 🙂

Upper Crust is one of the best hidden secrets in Columbia, SC. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. We’ve eaten here for over a year and always enjoy the brunch and lunch menu. This service always surpasses our expectations and the food couldn’t be anymore tasteful.

The waiter Haden was the only good part. My brisket was awful and dry. The communication was not good either. We tried to get info to rent the patio and never got a reply. Our party was split and told we must all arrive together in order to be seated, that would be fine if we hadn’t seen other parties seated without the same rules as other people joined their table later. The menu was lacking quite a bit. I would not recommend the place to anyone ever. The food definitely looks better than it was.

We had lunch on yesterday at Upper Crust and our most wonderful/pleasant/with excellent manners/superb customer service waiter Antonio Woods waited on our table. My mom & sisters food was amazing so shoutout to the cook who put his heart and soul in their pizzas on yesterday. Very nice atmosphere!! If you ever go to Upper Crust on Polo Road… please make sure you get Antonio as your waiter. He was simply amazing and I loved his testimony Thank you Antonio!

This was my very first time at this restaurant. The atmosphere and food is amazing, however the customer service could’ve been better. I ordered the meatballs and it was extremely hot to the point I burned my tongue. I told the waitress and the manager, and allowed them to feel the bowl the meatballs were in. They both agreed it was very hot, yet nothing was done to accommodate or compensate me for that. Overall awesome restaurant

A nice quaint restaurant, pizza menu looks very fancy but the taste isn’t spectacular. The sauce lacks flavour. I tried the bbq pizza and my partner tried the tomato sauce, but neither were great. I’m not a big wine drinker, but the special mimosa for Saturday was good.

My coworker and I stop here for a mid-morning brunch during the week. I order the Steak and cheese sandwich along hash browns and hot green tea. The waiter was nice and attentive to our needs. I enjoyed my meal and will be dinning here again in the near future.
