Simply one of the best pizzas in town! We love them and many times, after hiking we go there for lunch. My wife enjoys her greek salad as well. Small place in the El Dorado neighborhood, it is cozy and you can seat inside or outside (weather permitting). For a casual meal, a great place to go to, if you are in that area of Santa Fe.

We had been on the road for several hours, and were looking forward to picking up a pizza on the way home. Placed an online order for 7:15pm pickup, when we got there they hadn’t put the order in. It wasn’t ready until 7:45pm. The staff did not offer any apology, they received the order but shrugged it off as, oh well, we are busy. The drive through window was empty and so was the dine in area. One of the pizzas was incorrectly prepared, but at that point we did not have another 30 minutes to wait. We had a bad experience once before and decided to give them another opportunity, however we will not be back.

Upper Crust Pizza has indoor and outdoor seating with counter service and a drive-up window. On a late April Thursday, around noon, we sat inside ordering a Meatball Sub ($10.75) and the Lunch Special. The meatball sub was very mild in flavor on a french roll with a side salad and chips. The Lunch Special was a petite 6” pizza, a side salad and a drink (raspberry lemonade.) The pizza comes with tomato sauce and cheese but I added pesto and kalamata olives for an additional charge (Total $11.20.) It was delivered hot with a crunchy crust. Significant ambient noise from a loud exhaust fan and intrusive music made it difficult to converse. Cursory customer service. Overall the lunch experience was underwhelming. We will not go back.

A traveler looking for good pizza always takes a risk. Upper Crust Pizza has very good pizza crust and toppings. Went back a few days later for a meatball sub on a French roll. The meatballs were pretty good but the bread was outstanding. It made the sub.

Usually the food is great, but not last evening! I ordered a Greek Salad and paid extra to add avocado. No kidding, this is the avocado they put on my salad!!! With this kind of quality control, makes me wonder what else they are doing… I couldn’t even eat the salad. To top it off, my small combo pizza was under cooked!! Worst experience I’ve had with take out in ages. So disappointed…

I ordered an Italian calzone and it came with a salad. I didn’t know that, so it was nice. I had blue cheese dressing. That was just nice . The calzone was a little different. Instead of seeing a halfmoon shape. It was square shape and sliced 4 times times. The food was delivered and the server never checked on me again. I could have used some ice water to drink, but I didn’t ask in the beginning…..

Online hours posted say you close at 9 pm but I got turned away 15 minutes before nine trying to order a take out order. If you want to close at 8:44 that’s cool with me but post your hours accordingly please. I manage restaurants so I totally get it just please switch your business hours so your customers are not disappointed. Thanks!

The worst meatball sandwich I ever had. There was a girl in there and it seemed she was overwhelmed. So, I patiently waited and didn’t mind waiting. I asked for a beer which wasn’t as cold but nonetheless a good beer then I asked for a meatball sandwich as it comes with onions and light on bell peppers. I waited about 30 minutes when I finally got my sandwich, the bread was burned, and it was cut in two pieces. I didn’t know how to put it together. They didn’t put the onions and the green peppers as I requested and it was really salty. Once again, maybe I was the lucky one but that was the worst meatball and perhaps the worst sandwich I ever paid for. I didn’t leave a tip which is in my opinion rude but that was a terrible lunch. I will not come back nor recommend this joint. It was that bad…
