The first time here, we are from St Joseph Missouri. Our experience was a great one. We both had double cheese burgers and fries. Bugets were fantastic, so we’re the fries. They were cooked just right, not dry like some places. Definitely will be back.

We tried this spot after a recommendation from our family a few weeks back. We planned to camp in Crowder State Park and the restaurant is about 5 miles away in downtown Trenton. As stated, it was already recommended by family and our expectations were exceeded. A great tenderloin sandwich , perfectly made double cheeseburger and outstanding seasoned fries. We also had chicken wings for an appetizer and they were outstanding. They are smoked out back and then deep fried to order. A wonderfully smokey flavor with a snap / crunch in every bite.

This place is a little quirky but overall quite good. When you walk in the front door you order at the counter and then you can head back and take a seat. If you want a beer you can order it at the front counter or someone will come back to the bar and you can order there as a separate transaction. One weird thing I found was they don’t offer ice water, you have to buy bottled. The food was quite good, the wings could have used a touch more cooking and we’re a little soggy, but the flavor was there. I had a mac and cheese melt with a sausage, and when she brought it out I can’t say that I was impressed as it looked like a hot dog between two pieces of white bread. However the flavor was shockingly good with some really interesting spices either in the mac or in the sausage. It’s nice to find a place that is willing to try some different things and knows how to play with some flavors. Staff were all friendly and pricing seemed reasonable for the quality of food. Overall a nice little gem in the area
