They were able to accommodate food allergies but it was extremely disappointing & limiting that they used Whirl hydrogenated soybean oil for all of their cooking. Great menu selection and clean restrooms. They make their own ketchup and hot sauce.

The Dining Grandpa
A very small and quaint diner, that’s located in a small strip mall and has a neighborhood feel. Table, booth and counter dining is available. Open for breakfast and lunch 6am to 2pm, 7 days a week. The service and food was very good. Hot and delicious black coffee with a deep flavor and inviting aroma. Stoped by here the second time today for breakfast. I had the Cowboy Benedict last time, and a Western Omelette today thoroughly enjoyed the omelette it had American cheese, ham, onion and green peppers with your choice of two sides for 13.48 I chose hash browns and toast to pair with my Omelette. The cowboy Benedict I chose before comes on a split English muffin with two sausage patties, two poached eggs, and smothered in delicious sausage gravy. It comes with your choice of one side for 12.99. I really liked both meals for breakfast. Neither time was it crowded, but it did have a steady stream of customers. Food here is pretty good and you will not have to wait. Will return again for something else.

Fresh atmosphere and food! Atmosphere was bright and well lit, nicely decorated not over stimulating. The food was well prepared food with fresh ingredients. I had eggs florentine and the tomatoes were amazing! What I expected vs. What I got completely exceeded my expectations. Elijah was very polite and attentive. Food came out hot and quick.

Best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had, which is saying something. Also, the coffee is good, if you like it bold. Nothing worse than ordering a coffee at a diner and having it come out weak and bitter, this was good stuff.

Awesome variety of salads, sandwiches, quiche, and breakfast dishes. Delicious and fresh, and a lot of the items are made in house like bread, pickles, jam, quiches…

Was not expecting an egg in my BLT, but it was good. It was my first time there. I really liked the diner feel of the place.

Totally empty at 9:00 am on weekday so we got great service. Perfectly crunchy hashbrowns, good homemade sourdough bread, coffee was mediocre.

We stopped here on the way out of Indy. Do yourself a favor and stop for a bite to eat and take home some amazing homemade goodies! Had the eggs florentine and was out of this world. The staff was super friendly an on it in every direction! Will definitely be driving the 2 hrs back to eat here again.

I would give them a 4 star rating if the service was better. Great food, reasonably priced, but poor service. I don’t even know what my servers name was. She got my order and brought it out when done but never checked on me after that. Really glad that the food was good and I had sipped on my coffee. Because I never got asked if the food was alright or if I needed more coffee.
