I been seeing posts about this spot and the food always looked good. He had fried shrimp, salmon, mac and cheese, yellow rice. They did not disappoint. The two guys working were cool. I would recommend for some good soul food.

this was so good my soul was basically weeping tears of joy with every bite. the drive home felt like purgatory because of how incredible the food alone smelled from the second it entered the vehicle. I got the jerk chicken platter which already comes on a bed of rice and I got mac n cheese and string beans as my sides. prices might seem high but the portions are huge and the food is worth every cent. I could barely make it halfway through my platter so I will have leftovers to look forward to. the flavor is just incredible. everything was amazing and the woman working the register was so sweet and helpful. I will definitely be frequenting this spot and probably dreaming about it until I go back.

Disappointed that they weren’t serving collardgreeens (what I specifically went for), however I got the cabbage & it was delicious. Our whole meal had ton of flavor & the portions were huge. We took leftover home. We will definitely be going back when we’re in the area again looking for soul food.

New local establishment and surely worth a visit . The food is cooked to order ; patience is key and worth the wait . Friendly family run business ; we live in the area and will patronize this place . My husband and I both couldn’t finish our meals and we’re satisfied with our tasty meals . Price range varies we got the chicken platters and it comes with two sides. Other items on the menu are catfish , burgers , just to name a few.

This is not my own picture because this food was so good I didn’t think to take a pic of my platter. But anyway I had this exact platter( bbq jerk chicken over yellow rice, mac and cheese and greens) and it was bussin. This food is one of a kind and definitely the best spot to eat in Pottstown. I’m here at least once a week. The food is always made fresh and the portions are large. You will definitely get your money’s worth. I have never had anything from here that I didn’t like. Not only is the food bomb but it’s black owned. If you in the area check them out. You won’t be disappointed

I am from CT, and would DEFINITELY make the drive for this food again in the near future. The atmosphere is very laid back and chill and the food was out of this world !! We ordered the Salmon Cheesesteak, Fried Chicken Wings Plate and the Fried Chicken breast plate. Everything was cooked to order and the wait was VERY reasonable. The portion sizes were also perfect. The food was PERFECTLY seasoned and the service was impeccable. I would hands down recommend this to anyone looking for soul/southern food. Everything was absolutely delicious. If you like good food this place is for you!
