In town for business. Fairly large group of us dined in and we did separate checks. Sat for a while before someone took our order. The pizzas started coming out at different times which I would expect with a large group. One was wrong (wasn’t sent back) and one didn’t get made at all. It wasn’t until they came out with the last pie that they realized they forgot to make one. While we were waiting a couple different parties came in sat, waited and then left. Now the pizza was decent but the service was pretty awful. Is it worth taking a chance? This place isn’t a bland chain and was pretty good but you take a chance with the service.

I called and asked if I could get an order for delivery, the guy on the phones response was “yeah probably” then asked for my name, I told it to him and there was a minute long pose before another word was said. By the end of the order he told me “ see you soon” no tile was given for arrival. Driver showed up an hour later with our burnt breadsticks

Pizza was good, but was told pick up in 25 minutes. It was over 1.5 hours. I wish I had brought a book while I waited! Note to the staff: acknowledge those who are waiting, give more accurate times, give discounts if over a certain amount of time for unexpected waits.

When we sat ourselves, the waiter walked by us several times then went into the kitchen for over fifteen minutes while we waited. My friend had to call out the order from our booth the counter instead of the waiter coming to us, despite being one of the only two tables in the restaurant. They also never gave us menus.

Waited an hour and a half and then decided to call to check on the pizza. The guy giggled at me and said it was just coming out of the oven. Also said sarcastically that they are very professional there. I suspect he was under the influence. When the pizza did finally arrive after almost 2 hours they gave us “a free one for the wait” which was nice except that the free one was so burnt it wasn’t edible. The “good” pizza was not that great and had clearly been under a warmer a while before we got it. Would not recommend.

Got into Tomah around 9pm. Went to about 4 different places and no one was serving anymore. Found UpTown pizza. Went to go in and door was locked with workers inside. She opened the door and said come on it. We were so greatful!! The pizza was one on the best we ever had. Would definitely go back.

Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience. I’m not sure if Jason is unhappy with his place of work or if he does not like the general public, but he has VERY poor customer service skills. Jason acted like I was an inconvenience to his life and was bothered that I was in there purchasing pizza. I waited for a while for my pizza, and in the meantime, Jason was answering the phone and talking rudely to customers, he was being belligerent talking to himself, and making me feel very uncomfortable. When it was time for me to pay for my pizza, he informs me the card reader is not working. I had to leave to go get cash and upon returning and paying for the food, he slammed my change down on the table and proceeded to look at me with a very intense, awkward look. I probably won’t be returning to Uptown Pizza ever again, and I think Jason needs to rethink his career choice in customer service.

Food was good! Our waitress was nice… The guy behind the counter was strange!!! He looked like he rolled his eyes when we first got there… I thought it was my imagination because I only asked if we were supposed to sit anywhere we wanted. During our whole meal he was yelling at someone on the phone and dropping F-bombs. It sounded like from the conversation he was having he had fraudulent activity on his credit card, but my boyfriend said it sounded like he was yelling at his girlfriend at one point. We joked that it was dinner and a show, but when I saw others wrote a review about him I thought I would too so the owners know he might be an issue to other guest. We thought it was funny

Honestly, walking in immediately felt like a mistake. The booth I sat in (5 mo pregnant) was broken and I fell on the floor. There was no waitress so the cook came out and confused us with options. We said we wanted it to-go and they argued saying it’ll be better to stay and eat but we made an excuse to leave. If it wasn’t for the pizza being so good, I’d leave 1 star.

Went there 05/17/2023, 5-6pm. Walk in one lonely employee on the computer. Was there 5 min and he didn’t even acknowledge us. gets off computer and goes in the back not to be seen again. Another customer was there waiting for a pizza. He looked disgusted to. Look at my wife and said lets go. so we did just that. Went around the corner and went to Pizzones and placed our 4 pizza order within 1 min with a friendly wait staff.
