Excellent!! The brisket had a deep smoke ring and was tender and moist. Pulled pork was done quite well. Although a touch on the dry side, with a little sauce it was spot on. The ribs were some of the best I’ve ever had. Very moist and firm. A nice crust with just the right amount of sauce. Huge portion too! All of the sides were excellent as well. Highly recommend the mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese. We will definitely be back!!

Great balance of smoke and spice. The ribs were meaty and flavorful. The pulled pork was delicious with lots of tasty bark. Excellent collards and fries.

The pulled pork sandwich was amazing! Their BBQ sauces are all really good and my side macaroni was smokey, real cheese. The beef brisket was good, but a little softer and fattier than my mom makes it. Great music, alternative and grunge. Liked the funky decor. Knowledgeable people at the counter and food came out quick, though very few customers at the time we came in.

Totally worth it. Sure beats Mission BBQ. The corn bread is legit and made with corn.

My favorite among the local BBQ places; the pulled pork and chicken, as well as the brisket, are consistently good, and the sides are better than anyone else in the area. My daughter is particularly fond of their ribs (very good), and the selection of sauces covers the waterfront. Dining room is nicer and cleaner than other folks around. Not quite like being in the low-country in a shack, but mighty close…is our go-to BBQ joint, and recommended.

This is REAL BBQ – slow cooked over wood smoke, NOT boiled & dipped in sauce. I like it a lot. Had brisket, rib rack and chicken and all were very good. Quick service & the food is served nice and hot. Good seating inside or take home. Very casual in the traditional BBQ style!

Ate lunch here today with my wife and young son. Funny how crowded it was at noon and we were the only ones left by 1:30. Had a pulled pork sandwich and fries with a drink. Very nice flavor, very simple and the fries were great. Many sauces on the table to choose from. Wife had a nice pulled chicken sandwich and my boy had chicken nuggets. He must have loved them because he ate them all. Nice typical BBQ restaurant metal roof and antique decorations abound. All in all I recommend Urban Bar-B-Que for a very tasty meal. You will enjoy.

Got three meat sampler with ribs, chicken sausage and brisket. Ribs were the best in my opinion. The corn bread was excellent, moist corn chunks and delicious, wrapped in plastic wrap to prevent it from drying out. Mac and cheese was awesome and the fries were crisp. Friday lunch crowd wasn’t too bad but then again maybe cause of the holiday weekend. Great spot. Will come back!

I walked in not very excited for bbq but this place definitely proved me wrong. Everything I had was really good. Brisket egg rolls, burger (the patty itself was particularly delicious), and greens (which I am very picky about!). Their hot sauce is really yummy too. And the chili that comes with the egg rolls is genius. Good stuff! Friendly staff and great environment, too.

First time here. Wife had the super food salad and enjoyed it. I had the three meat sampler with the ribs, brisket, pulled pork, fries, and mac and cheese. The food was excellent as were the sauces, and the prices were very reasonable. Well worth a repeat visit.
