Got the Beef braise with Mashed potatoes, Roasted old Baked potatoes, huge Chocolate chip cookies, Hummingbird cake and Lemonade. Very cute place with lots of green plants and decorations. Plenty of seating inside. Outside is pretty big and they had a small fire going. The staff was friendly and the prices were Fair. The beef braised with mashed potatoes and rustic style bread was absolutely delicious! So much flavor, nice and hot and the potatoes were made really well. The roasted old baked potatoes were also really yummy, just wish they were served hot (mine were barely warm). The hummingbird cake looks great but it’s not for me. It was kind of citrus tea flavored with random chunks of pineapple in there and also had a oval chunk of something weird that had a rubber texture to it and I couldn’t figure out what it was. Even asked the staff. There’s plenty of parking in their lot

I wish it was possible to leave zero stars. I’ve had to order from this place for work for years, and not once have they had the items or prepared them right. I made the mistake of trying them for lunch and they managed to mess up a chicken Caesar salad. It was a handful of cheap romaine ribs, tomatoes that don’t belong on a Caesar, and bland, rubbery chicken. The toast was old and chewy and tasted more of oil than bread. The dressing didn’t have much flavor and it was a chore trying to force any of it down. As a bonus, it took a long wait. I’m not sure about the sandwich I ordered for someone else, but they used the same old rubbery chicken, so I’m guessing it was just as bad. I’ve had cafeteria food that was better quality, and definitely better value.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots in Thousand Oaks. All organic food and all gourmet. Cafeteria style and the manager is such a nice guy. Everything on the menu is good. My wife and kids love it here also. You have to give it a try.

I went to urban plates for dinner with my family as I’ve been back from college. I haven’t been in a while but their consistency shines through with the same delicious food and excellent, attentive customer service. I must shoutout Elijah! He was so helpful, great at taking our orders, and attending other needs. He also gave us free chocolate chip cookies as closing time was coming near. So yummy and such a wonderful experience

I ordered the grass fed beef with chimchurri sauce, Rosemary potatoes, beets & carrots. The meal looked good & the vegetables were delicious. However my piece of meat was very difficult to chew & some portions totally unchewable. It looked good & the taste was good but portions were like rubber. Weird.. This was my first time eating here so hopefully just a one-off situation.

To whom it may concern: I came here with my partner mine to dine outside and we spend almost $100 on food. Worst customer service ever. Never again will me and partner be back. We were dining outside to eat and it’s only 8:55 so waitress decided to lock door on us awhile we stilling dining outside. We knock on door and they wouldn’t open door saying that they close. Nobody came to tell us that they were going to close door. Never got to put food in box very disappointment. I will never come back here again. So upset after spend 100 dollar of food and nobody came to inform us that they are close. I never in history have this ever happen to me. Please bring to your staff meeting so won’t happen to other. This happen yesterday on july 18 around 8:30 pm.
