Was here with my family. I hv no idea how u can take peoples money & give them food from a trash can. If u love Chinese food. This ain’t the place. Best Chinese food in Santa Maria is “Ming Dynasty” the food the host, the servers r all great. The food is fresh & tasty.

EDIT 4/27/2023: This place is terrible now. The Mongolian grill is gone. The food is now very noticeably lukewarm to cold even at 5 PM. Way too much random food choices, a lot of it Mexican. Even if it’s a very Hispanic area of Santa Maria, dunno why they wanna go to an Asian buffet for Mexican food. No potstickers this day, which I consider a staple. Only thing I LOVED was the Indian chicken. Phenomenal with a sweet curry flavor. Managed to get some hot even though they buried the fresh stuff under the old stuff. Service HAS improved. They DO notice you now, take your plates, and refill your drinks. You prolly don’t wanna come here though.

I went into this place with my husband this weekend. It was our first time there and I was not impressed. When my husband and I arrived another group of people arrived just after this. This was group of what looked like mainly deaf individuals who where using ASL and making vocalizations. I saw the server mimic these people and laugh while doing it. It is as very rude and disrespectful.

The food was subpar at best. The only thing worth eating was the shrimp. I’ve been to many Chinese buffets. I would try just being that’s a Chinese buffet that makes great choices that are Chinese food items. If I wanted pizza, I would go and get pizza. Be Chinese
