I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vacanza Romana in El Dorado Hills, and I must say, it felt like a journey straight to Italy! From the moment I stepped in, the authentic atmosphere and the aroma of freshly baked focaccia bread captured my senses. Watching the bread being made behind a glass wall added an immersive touch to the experience. The taste of the food was simply exceptional – the carbonara was a highlight, melting in my mouth like a dish prepared by Nonna herself. The interior exudes a modern yet relaxed vibe, adorned with beautiful plants and a captivating white wine hutch. Vacanza Romana is a true gem that brings the flavors of Italy to our doorstep. An absolute delight for anyone seeking an authentic Italian dining experience!

High volume, but always attentive!! Dominic did an amazing job keeping in touch with the bar while also checking on surrounding tables. Amazing food, and AMAZING wine list! Best Italian food in the area. Open kitchen view, being able to see the cleanliness and chefs cooking all the wonderful fresh pastas and pizzas. Also in an amazing area with easy to find parking near by. Very fairly priced as well! Highly recommend

Risotto bites, house salad, lasagna, and Boh! pasta dish. We absolutely enjoyed this new spot. The bread and basil balsamic served to the table is incredible. The Risotto bites were ridiculously amazing, lasagna was one of the best I’ve had, and the homemade noodles were obviously great. Our waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

Great addition to the local restaurant scene. Service was excellent, friendly attentive and detailed. Ambience was great, yes a little loud as other reviewers have pointed out but not overpowering and created a sense of a family get together. Food was great, we started with the calamari and crispy risotto. Latter was excellent and highly recommended. Calamari was fresh, cooked well but lacked seasoning. We had the ravioli and the carbonara both of which were excellent. Taste of fresh pasta made this a stand out set of courses. Great wine list. Will be back.

Service was outstanding and the owner and staff were welcoming. That said, It was very loud. Everyone was trying to talk over the loud music, which added to the sound level. The food was good but for the price, the portions were more of a tasting than a meal. Hopefully with honest reviews, they will improve.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! It’s what this area has been missing. True, Italian food, not heavy American Italian, but extremely fresh dishes, Handmade pasta and Traditional dishes done with a flare. I could eat here every night. The service is excellent, it’s a small place so make reservations in advance. The only recommendation I would make is in their wine list. I was disappointed with the lack of Italian wine options.
