You would be hard pressed to find a Lincoln resident who hasnt had vals. Their pizza for me is not what comes to mind when I want a slice. To me, their pizza is its own food category, a pizza tangent if you will. It is good though and i love what they do with their bleu cheese dressing. The salads they give are often not super fresh as you often find at any pizza place like this but they are fine for what they are.

This used to be my favorite location to order pizza from. Over the last 6 months the quality has really dropped. The pizza was hot and the delivery driver was so kind, but the pizza was made sloppy with very little cheese and hamburger but WAY TOO MUCH SAUCE. Not to mention the cheese was burnt. I’m never ordering from here again

I ordered two specials with extra cheese. I have been buying these pizza for 45 years I worked there. I ran the ovens on holdrege, in the front window 7 years, while in school. The pizzas I recieved tonight were the wimpy est pizzas I’ve had, in a real long time. They were supposed have extra cheese, and they had hardly any cheese. Evidently they quit putting cardboard disks under the pizzas as well, allowing them to slide before I got them ,every edge piece was folded on the end,as they rode against side of the box. Pretty sad excuse for Val’s specials, then at 9:30 I called to complain, they are open till ten, but they wouldn’t answer the phone. I Tried three times, just kept ringing. I expect better, for 43 dollars. Pitiful

On July 2nd ordered a large 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 Italian Sausage. Got home and there on a slice of Sausage piece was a handful of green peppers. Called and said something about. They had advised me that is how they tell the Italian Sausage from the rest of the pizza when they have a whole bunch of orders. So I amnever going to Valentinos again.

Monday, December 17th, I ordered online a medium pizza at approximately 1:00pm. It was for a pick up delivery at 4:15p. When my husband went in to pick it up, they hadn’t even started on it. The guys said he forgot and if my husband wanted to wait 15-20 minutes, he could get it done. EXCUSE ME!! This was ordered at 1:00pm and you couldn’t get it done by 4:15p.

As usual Valentino’s is still the best place in town for family dining and pizza done the right way since they first opened, still alitte pricey but well worth it. Clean family friendly. STILL LINCOLNS KING OF THE PIE.

I ordered a small specialty pizza with one extra topping and it was $17!! I won’t be going back! For $17 for a small pizza you would expect an excellent pizza, well…it wasn’t any thing special to say the least. Look elsewhere!
