Valhalla is in the same spot as Mo’s pizza with parking in the garage behind the store. Got the Valhalla Pork and the Big Kahuna sandwiches, and both were very good! They’re a bit on the pricey side as expected from Mercer Island, but very filling. If you’re not very hungry, a half sandwich would be enough.

Very clean and lots of room to hang out both indoors and out. Food was excellent all around, hot and fresh! A great place to eat even if coming from off Island. Covered parking as well.

I’ve been to Valhalla in Greenwood and had delicious sandwiches and soup there. At the Mercer Island one, my club sandwich could have been better. Better bread, crispy bacon, less or no horseradish would have made it better. It just lacked deliciousness, kind of lackluster especially for the pretty steep price.

I used to live down the street from the original Greenwood location, and it was one of the places I’ve always missed since moving to Mercer Island. I am so, so happy that they’ve opened here! I went on the opening day and the staff was friendly, the restaurant looks great, and the sandwiches are absolutely phenomenal.

Vahalla took over the space that used to be Mo’s. Vahalla is awesome! They have hot and cold sandwiches. They staff is extremely nice and friendly. I’ve never seen the place so clean. They have a new counter and are on fire! I ordered the hot “Bad Lieutenant” sandwich and Tater Tots. They were great! The sandwich had a nice portion of 2 different meats. It also had a lot of flavor.

Really good sandwiches and very tasty sauces! We had the Super Chicken Deluxe, and the Big Kahuna Tuna – both with cheese on a toasted ciabatta bun. We’re coming back to try some of the other sandwiches.
