Was at Valle to celebrate a birthday. I booked the chefs table as a surprise. Unfortunately 10ish days before they cancelled that and moved it to an earlier day we couldn’t make it. Being so late I couldn’t get in anyplace else so opted to keep the time slot for the regular dining experience. That was the first disappointment…

A very delicious restaurant offering a 4 meal course at a fixed price of 90 dollars. The restaurant itself has a very nice atmosphere not bright but a bit darker and softer. This restaurant definitely deserves a Michelin star and I would highly recommend this if in the Oceanside area.

I was excited to try this new restaurant due to its beautiful location and incredible reviews about the chef. My family and I came here in May and were thrilled with the ambience and décor. The service was overall very good. Quan took great care of us – he is obviously highly experienced and understood the food and wine options available.

I have dined at Michelin restaurants across the world and this was the most disappointing. As many other reviewers have stated, Valle is very overpriced and in my opinion, not worth it! The food is fine, but there is not one dish that was outstanding or memorable. I have no desire to return.

I went to this restaurant with my significant other to celebrate. I want to make it very clear that the wait staff was excellent and our server was very attentive. We had the four course with wine pairing. The wine pairings were good but the portions were extremely small and in my opinion a little bland. I expected big flavor from gourmet Mexican food and that is not what I got. Total cost for the meal was $435. I found this restaurant to be severely overpriced and would not return nor would I ever recommend to any of my friends or family. Also the check included 20% gratuity but was presented in such a way that I really needed to scrutinize the bill to determine that gratuity was included, the bill also had a very large are to add additional gratuity which is what led me to believe it was not included in the bill initially. I understand gratuity is normally included for large parties but this was two people. Like I said before I will not return. Money would have been much better spent actually going to Valle de Guadalupe.

We had the opportunity to experience dinner at the Valle restaurant in Oceanside. Every item tried on the four course menu exceeded all are expectations. The symphony of flavors that were contained in the choices were incredible. The service was beyond excellent and a post dinner tour of the kitchen gave us the opportunity to meet the wonderful folks that prepared our courses. Wine pairings were excellent and the detailed explanations of all wines and items served made our dinner so memorable We have tried many restaurants throughout the US but this experience at Valles exceeded all. The location is wonderful and the decor is spectacular and I only wish we could give more than 5 stars
