I had lunch yesterday (Thursday) while in the area. I got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, fried pickles, and a Pepsi. The food was prepared quickly and delicious! I saw outside enjoyed the food!

Where to begin!?! Stopped into this spot with the hopes of having some decent roadside bbq. Boy, was I wrong!! I ordered the Beef Brisket sandwich with fried pickles and hush puppies. If you like your fried pickle chips that look and taste like they’ve been under a heat lamp for hours, you’ll love these. Im pretty sure the hush puppies could have been worse, but I doubt it. The brisket sandwich is what we call a swing and a miss. Is this a dry county? Because the bbq sure is.

Extremely let down by this food truck. I ordered brisket and got what I can only assume was overcooked baked pulled pork. There was no smoke flavor to it at all and it was very dry. The “Kansas City Style” sauce wasn’t. As someone who grew up in Northeast Kansas I can tell you it is not remotely like what KC Style could be.

Beef brisket was great. Tried to order a plate but was out of Mac n cheese and hush puppies. This visit was at 1230pm. Carolina sauce looked watery and had no taste. Used KC sauce which was good but not my first choice. My first visit and the brisket was great but what could easily have been 5 star became 3 because of lack of basics. Out of stock of sides even though early in the day and someone messed up the Carolina BBQ sauce. It is my favorite BBQ Sauce, but this had no taste and even looked wrong.

They gave me brown beans instead of macaroni and cheese. The bean juice mixed in with the slaw and bbq.

Very disappointed in the BBQ pork. Nothing but fat and overcooked pieces. The sauce was lacking in taste, the baked beans tasted like they were from a can (and they were the best part of meal). Unfortunately an hour or so later I was very nauseated and had to make a quick stop. I won’t give any of those details.

Delicious pulled pork sandwich! The bun was soft and tasty. I enjoyed the peach habanero sauce, although I didn’t find it spicy. Drink options were lacking (just Diet Pepsi and Mountain Dew available). The associated farmers market is worth a stop too.

Oh geeze where to begin… spent $30.00 on 3 sandwiches and 2 sides. When I originally looked at menu online everything was $1.50 cheaper. I would totally be okay paying 6.50 for 2 sandwiches and 7.50 for a sandwich had it actually had meat on them!! I wish I would have taken a picture. It was literally 1 tbsp of meat and 1 tsp of slaw. The pork was dry, like eating dry cooked skin or something. It was gross. My husband also got the smoked turkey and it literally had 2 small slices of turkey on bread. I was expecting more. The sides were okay but nothing terrific. Whoever the owner or manager is really needs to work on the pork a bit. I’ve never had meat that was that consistency. It was like eating jerky… ugh I was really looking forward to this place too. Maybe it depends on the day. Yesterday however was discusting.

Good food-truck BBQ. Had the pulled pork sandwich plate, includes two sides. Can of pop put the whole meal just over a saw buck. Not bad, knowing what goes into making decent Q. Would recommend.
