The Lodge restaurant is housed in a historic 1880s hook and ladder firehouse with high ceilings, three fireplaces, and plenty of room to spread out. There are four indoor dining areas: the bar dining room, the great room dining room, the private dining room and the poolside lounge.
The Lodge has valet parking available with direct access to our front door when you enter at 66 Orange Turnpike. You can also park in the public lot located at 27 Mill St and walk through our gardens to enter the Lodge.

Had our Valentine’s dinner last night. Once again, the Valley Rock Lodge delivers a truly stellar experience. A fairytale ambience combined with the most delicious gourmet food served by extraordinarily friendly and accommodating staff. Worth every dollar and then some. It’s a 2-hour vacation to a delightful and very tasty wonderland.

First experience, we were seated at bar. Very impressed. Behind the bar were two barkeepers. Gentleman took our drink order, female took our food order. Received drinks sans napkin. Awhile later we received our food. No utensils. Neither server cared to see if we had them. Eventually we asked. Even though they were literally right in front of us. Started eating and never got a check on food, we asked for water. They never asked if we would like another drink, and they both stared at our empty plates and did nothing. We asked for check, still they never moved the dirty plates. I don’t get it. Great food, service was really lacking. Too busy chatting with employees.
