At Valpo Soup Company we serve house-made soups, salads, and sandwiches in our state of the art kitchen. You’ll find real, whole food that is prepared daily on-site, combining fresh, high-quality ingredients with spices and flavors from around the world.
Inspired by our travels and passion for exploring the world, we wanted to create a place where we could introduce new and exotic flavors to our community back home. We aim at offering a place where friends and family could quickly enjoy a house-made meal without compromising on the nutritional benefit that real food provides. We believe it is best to make each soup by hand, each dressing and sandwich spread from scratch, and create dishes just as you would find at home.

This place is the bomb. Like really good stuff. Portion sizes are large. A bowl of soup with a side of bread will get it done. The bread? Tasty. On top of that it’s a cute little place.

My wife and I came and had a very pleasant experience. The manager Adam gave us samples of the different soups to try so we could decide what we liked best. They were all delicious and we hope to try them all someday. We also had a sandwich which again was excellent.

If you’re looking for a local restaurant that serves fresh, hearty food, this is the place for you. My wife and I both had different soups (chicken lemon rice and Spicy Tia Chicken). The vegetables with both our soups were cooked to perfection and the the flavor was excellent. Plus both soups came with a hearty dinner roll. The atmosphere is modern but comfortable and the staff are incredibly pleasant and friendly.

The food was very bland.. mediocre at the best. $32 bucks for 2 bowls of soup and a salad. I think that’s a lot of money. The way the restaurant is set up is weird. The service was ehhh..I just was not impressed with the place. Kosmos’s homemade soups are hands down way better in taste and price lol.

The soup is amazing! Freshly made everyday! I also love their Lemonade and Brownies. The brownies are made fresh by real pastry chefs. The Valpo Soup company is my new favorite lunch spot in Valpo. Large portion sizes with enough for two meals. I highly recommend.
