This place is super GOOD!! We visited the restaurant during “Canton trade days”, so it was very busy! There were 9 people in our party and I was expecting a longer wait, it wasn’t so. We got a table within 10 minutes! And, to my surprise, the food was also very quick! The service was as good as the food, and the food was OUTSTANDING!! The portions are generous, you will depart satisfied! Eat here you will not be disappointed!!

Oh my word… DELICIOUS! Authentic Homemade Italian food. All of our meals were fresh & tasty. The roasted garlic olive oil dip was unlike anything I’ve ever had. The garlic rolls melt in your mouth. The owner, Val, visited our table to make sure everything was good. Service is top notch, friendly staff, & the best Italian food! Overall 10 ⭐️ !

Delicious salads and dressings! We tried the ranch, honey mustard, and house! Fresh, HOT rolls while you wait, went great with the salad. Good pizza and lots of Italian dishes. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. The pasta was a little watery and not as saucy as I would like but it’s personal preference. Kids loved the white Alfredo pizza!

It’s pretty decent. I may be knocking it a bit too much subconsciously because we had to travel a bit and while I don’t think it’s worth the drive, it’s a nice stop if you’re in the area. The service was pretty good. The servings are pretty generous. I had pasta primavera, I think it was called, which was surprisingly vegetarian, and it was all right, but very meatless, and I don’t mean that just literally, but I’m weird, so I would recommend it if you want a vegetarian option (I didn’t see if there were others). The dessert, I don’t remember what it was, wasn’t that large, and very forgettable. It’s a fairly family-friendly atmosphere and I remember correctly, I think it had a bar sectioned off out of the way from general traffic. It’s a very cozy location, kind of tucked away, but it adds a little small town essence to it, which is always a positive. I would definitely be down to trying it again if I’m in the neighborhood.

Excellent Italian food with reasonable prices. Like all food establishments, the price they pay for their ingredients has risen considerably. On our last recent visit, a salad is no longer included with an entree. But they certainly do not scrimp on the entree. I had a pasta dish with fresh mushrooms, peppers, and Italian sausage, and it was more than enough for two meals. And I was happy with the generous amount of Italian sausage.

Val’s provides delicious food and friendly service. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Dessert was delicious. We came 20 minutes before closing. They got hot, delicious food to our table quickly. Was a very special occasion, and we were deeply grateful they made it even more memorable!

The food is okay, but not worth the price. It was $44+ tip for 2 ppl. We both had chicken dishes. The chicken was obviously burnt on the grill then added to the pasta dishes. The sauce on the dishes was scant. The picatta had very little lemon flavor. The Scicillian chicken was plentiful with mushrooms but lack of sauce meant it was sort of bland, too. The bread is good but prices for marinara & dipping oil are outrageous. There isnt a lunch menu. We went for a group lunch. This isn’t a place I’d go with family. It’s worth the drive to go to Terrell, Gunbarrel, or Athens.
