“We are going to continue our focus on innovation and creativity with our ciders,” Paul Vander Heide, Owner, said. “But we wanted to take a few of our core products and make them more accessible to customers.”

Great food! The braised pork was amazing! So tender and the sweetness of the apples were balanced out perfectly with a hint of spice. Definitely recommend checking out the new menu

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere and delicious cider. The fresh bread with scallion butter and pesto was very good and they have gluten free bread available.

Yes, they do have drinks other than cider. But, you have to go here for their cider. I’m town for hockey and this was a great spot to stop. Large open inside and a fantastic outdoor space, including a fire pit. Super friendly staff, each and everyone of them! Menu is great too. Not overly heavy like some “breweries”, nice selection and the best named kids menu I have ever seen Speaking of kids, extremely family friendly. Little ones seemed to love outdoor area and never interfered with other guests. Everyone co-existed…a rarity these days. Just a great overall vibe in there. We enjoyed a perfect Friday evening.

Really good food, friendly staff and great cider selection. I came during happy hour, so cider flights were only $5. They had chili cheese fries with a cider cheese that was amazing. Their house fried potato chips were delicious. If I’m back in Grand Rapids I will definitely be visiting again.

We had a great time at Vandermill and will definitely be going back to try more food! They have a large selection of their own ciders and great prices ($9 for a flight?!) – we ended our night here and the cheesecake was to die for. All of the the staff were all very friendly, but our bartender Shandra was awesome at helping us make our selections and we had a good time chatting with her.

The location is nice and the place has a great kind of modern/ industrial sort of ambiance which is both lively but not too loud. Cider isn’t really my thing but the drinks were still pretty good, but the food was excellent. The main drawback of this place was the service, which despite the emptiness of the establishment was inexplicably slow. Still a fun spot if you’re not in a hurry!

Food is excellent. Didn’t like the cider (too sweet, not my thing) or the beer, which is average at best. But the food!!! Their appetizer Ham and Doughnuts is amazing: cider doughnuts wrapped in procsciutto with apple butter and cheese! Loved the Fried Nashville chicken sandwich. Get the Apple salad with pecans, blue cheese and greens.

Amazing service, cider, and food. The waitress did a great job at recommending ciders and the bar manager did a great job on the Cider tour. Fun fact, Laugh Fest has a stage here and you can rent part of the space for a wedding venue.
