Classic drive in just north of I-78. A must/see just for the architecture. Easy entrance to I-78 eastbound-straight across on green light. Tasty freshly prepared grilled cheese sandwich and Hot Dog. Picnic tables outside in breezy shade. Nice change from blasting indoor AC.

Stopped here on the way home from the casino. The chicken wings were perfect. Golden crispy on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside. Service was fast and friendly. I’m sure the rest of the food is amazing.

Vassi’s has a menu all over the place, including the “dine in” area. The prices are not what they are charging you. Ex. The 2 cheeseburger special states $8.99. I was charged $11.10, onion rings state $3.90 and charged $4.05. How deceitful is this. When questioned, I was told, ” Oh, I’m sorry, new pricing above the register.” I am in the dining room, not take out. Besides, either way, no one mentions the one correct menu, while old menus are everywhere. Really.

If you looking for the best local food joint then this is the spot. I go usually once a week but sometimes twice it’s so good. The burgers are the absolute best. They use fresh local beef and ingredients. So if your looking for a new favorite spot to check out, don’t miss this place.

The food was YUMMY. I liked how fresh everything tasted and flavorful. The ice cream is absolutely delicious, some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The staff was friendly and fast. The location was also great, so nice at sunset while you sit outside. It has a retro feel, and I would definitely go again when I’m in Pennsylvania.

Great place to get some awesome food. Looks like a small hole in the wall restaurant, but the food that comes out of there is anything but small tasting. If you haven’t been and new to the area or just driving through like myself, definitely go check them out.
